Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each vehicle runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of each listing BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a rare 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 Limited. The 5.9 Limited was only made in 1998 and is much more than a Grand Cherokee Limited with a big engine. On the exterior, the 5.9L can be distinguished most obviously by the special alloy wheels and the functional heat extracting louvers on the hood. The grill is also different as are the special side skirts and low profile roof rack. I would rate the exterior of this Grand Cherokee 5.9L to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking truck. The 5.9L was only offered in three colors. The body is in pretty good shape for the miles. Some of the clear coat is flaking off of the louvers...which is common. There are some chips on the drivers door and a few scuffs and scrapes here and there as you'd expect to find on an older vehicle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well. The tires show less than average tread all around. The windows are privacy tinted which looks great. I would rate the interior of this Grand Cherokee to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The special 5.9L package also shows many differences on the interior, too. The seats are finished in calf grain leather which has a supple feel with a little more texture than the regular leather. The gear selector and transfer case lever are also trimmed in calf grain leather, not plastic like the Laredo and regular Limited. The 5.9L also gets special wood interior accents as well as an upgraded sound system and a rear seat arm rest. The door panels are clean and tight. The calf grain seats show very well throughout the interior and are comfortable. The carpets are clean in the passenger and cargo areas. The interior wood trim shows well. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The climate control system is fully automatic. It powers up but has not been tested. The headliner is in better than average condition. As far as the mechanical differences go, the 5.9L is more than just a big engine. It has a heavy duty alternator, additional coolers and an electric fan. Jeep also upgraded the transmission to handle the extra power of this engine so you rarely see a 5.9L with a transmission issue like you often see lesser Jeeps. Mechanically, I don't have much to give on this one like I'd like to. We drove it back to our shop from the auction with no problems. That evening, my partner drove it home and back in the next morning. That day, he went to FedEx out some papers and stopped at a local donut shop for breakfast. When he went out to leave, the alarm (aftermarket) wouldn't let the truck start. I went to pick him up and we tried and tried to figure it out, override it...something...but nothing worked so I had it towed back here. I disconnected the battery for a few days, went out to try it again...same thing. The alarm chirps inside and some lights blink but it won't allow the vehicle to start. I give up!!! It's sitting in the middle of my side lot just being in the way. I hate to cut it loose the way it is because I know it can run and drive but the reality is that I don't have time to mess with it. If you're any good at auto electronics, you may be able to have yourself a nice Jeep if you can figure out how to get it back to stock. Unfortunately, I haven't driven it personally so I can't provide a detailed description of how it runs and drives. I can tell you that it did drive from the auction to here...here to my partners house...back to here and then to Maple Donuts. I don't know how it drives or what it may need. To cover myself, I will say that this Jeep is being sold for parts just in case it needs something else once you get it running. I provided a photo of the back of the title showing mileage when we purchased it as well as a photo of mileage on the odometer to show that we did drive it 36 miles. The seller shall not be responsible for the correct description, authenticity, genuineness, or defects herein, and makes no warranty in connection therewith. No allowance or set aside will be made on account of any incorrectness, imperfection, defect or damage. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.

We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle at retail price from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as we received it (unless otherwise noted in the written description). We always disclose any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test. These vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.

We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, warrantied vehicles for sale with No Reserve. Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
