For Sale again due to a non paying bidder, a nice 1962 Ford Thunderbird that I am selling for a friend. It was repainted with enamel paint in the early 1990's. Engine was rebuilt at same time. This Thunderbird has less than 65000 actual miles. For a 51 year old car, it is an excellent driver and in very good condition. The exterior is a rustfree straight body. the floors and trunk floor is also rust free and in great shape. The engine is 390ci V8 with 300 HP, automatic tranny, and dual exhaust. Options include swing away steering, power brakes, power steering, and the original radio. As expected with a car of this age, there are some scratches and chips in the paint and some dings in the fender chrome but paint still has a very nice shine to it. Over all the interior is very nice, carpet and headliner are in great condition, also has a new dash pad, but there are some small tears in seats (see pictures). The tires are like new but were installed in the 90's as well. There is also a leak in the power steering that will need to be fixed before much driving is done. An inspection can be arranged by appointment only. If the car needs to be shipped, we will ensure the car is available for the transporter's schedule. Reasonable offers will be considered.
