1986 Jeep Cj8 Scrambler Frame off restoration completed in 2005 with all the goodies! 6 point roll cage, shoulder belts, 4" suspension lift, 2" body lift, 3.55 gears, Aussie locker, Dana 300 transfer case, 5speed manual, hd rear driveshaft, hd axle shafts, 32" good year mtr tires, custom rock sliders all around, rock crawler bumpers, fiberglass rear tub, metal front clip, custom two tone paint, rhino lined inside and underneath, rebuilt amc 6 cylinder, braided stainless brake lines, power brakes, power steering, 22 gallon fuel tank, wilderness products shackle reversal kit, full length best top, boxed frame, etc..... This jeep runs and drives awesome. It's a great trail truck, and would also make a very nice daily driver. 1986 was the last year for the scrambler and this is one of only 128 made that year. The entire frame has been refabricated and is no longer original. It has been boxed and reinforced to incorporate the 6 point roll cage, the tied in rock sliders, and the rear rock crawler bumper. The entire frame (cage, rock sliders, bumpers) has been professionally primed and painted. The body from the firewall back is made of high quality fiberglass that has been reinforced with steel panels that were glassed in at all the important places, so that steel doors can be hung if needed! The hood, fenders, grill, windshield and the rest of the body forward of the firewall is pure jeep steel that is rust free and in excellent shape. The entire body has been professionally Rhino lined on the inside and underneath. The exterior paint is professionally done and is in great condition. The only noticeable flaw is a chip on top of the passenger front fender about the size of a dime (will attach a pic soon) Driveline is mostly original rebuilt jeep to include: heavier rear axle shafts, rear Aussie locker, diff protectors, rebuilt 6 cylinder engine, Newer Clutch, the HD Dana 300 Transfer case, hd rear driveshaft, 4inch suspension lift, and 2 inch body lift, the front differential is open, power brakes, braided lines (stops like it should) and the front sway bars connectors have been removed for the trail (they are included and can be reinstalled easily. The interior is pretty plane Jane and has the original jeep seats (front buckets and rear bench) with charcoal best top covers. The inside floor has no carpet and is rhino lined. the dash is the color of the exterior and is in great condition. All instruments work to my knowledge except for the original analog clock and the aftermarket pioneer CD player. There is also a CB radio and antenna included. All the work was completed by the previous owner in 2005 and was professionally done, the jeep has been well taken care of and maintained since.
