Up for sales is an awesome used 1963 Ford Falcon Futura in great condition. The car is very clean in and out. The vehicle is dent free, the paint is in great condition. The vehicle starts each time every time without hesitation and runs great. The car features first and foremost a fresh 302 bored .030 over, Edlebrock Performer 4bbl 600 CFM Carb with electric choke, an Edlebrock aluminum intake, MSD 6A electronic Ignition, Hedmann Headers with dual exhaust all the way back,, a mild 224 @ .050 Cam all with maybe 4,000 miles on the engine. Behind the engine is a C4 Top Loader transmission matched to an 8.8 read end and a Hurst shifter on the floor. The interior has been redone in sort of a heavy tweed fabric and is in good condition with Grant wood steering wheel. The dash pad is in great condition no cracks or tears while the instrument cluster has been modified with mini gauges nestled in a custom aluminum cluster featuring water, oil, fuel, charging, tach and speedo. The care has been well cared for no racing or hard driving though it has done a few burnouts from time to time. It normally cruises around 60 -65mph as I stated I take very good care of the "Bird". Throttle response is crisp, timing is mildly advanced only 8 - 10 degrees, the carb is jetted at 68 maybe? So the old Bird has plenty more to offer but it is now she will run right up to 100, I haven't taken her pas that ever. So, after 13 years of enjoying my Bird and two years trying to decide what to do it is time to find a good home for her with someone who can finish what I started.
