1986 F-150 4x4 Lariat black with red interior.The truck has a 351 V8 Motor that runs good. Dual Tanks.( I have only tried the front one) I painted the inside of the bed with undercoating( Quick cover to make it look better) , AC is there and could be recharged i think to get it working. Brand New Holly 600 carb (Needs to be tuned in and the choke tweaked in, it has some vacuum leaks)and air cleaner, new plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Valve covers leak oil. Rear end has an issue that causes it to shake when you turn. Not sure what is wrong with it. Heater core has been by[assed. The catalytic converter make noise like has nuts rattling around in one of the dual exhaust but I am not sure so I would have them cut out and straight piped ( only sometimes). Parking lights work, headlights do not. I saved this truck to get it set for someone else to finish this project. I thought the transfer case was going so I took out the front driveshaft. Its good and could go back in as the problem seems to be in the rear end. This truck needs more work to be a great truck again. Rust from sitting but not too bad. See picture. Floors have a few spots from sitting for years and water building up. I have only driven this truck 10 miles. I don't know much about it. I bought it not running. I put the carb on it and it had rear end trouble so that is as far as I wanted to take it. Just trying to get my money back out of it. I do not know anything really about it. It runs and drives. I will answer questions the best I can but I am not a mechanic and the truck has not been gone through. Will need a new hood. I drove this truck for 10 miles in 85 degree weather and it did not overheat and it had good oil pressure. I will say this is a project truck and please bid accordingly. Thank you. No warranty with this truck and it is as is so I would suggest you see it in person or have it towed to a garage to have in inspected. The truck sat for many years before I bought it. I just got it 1 month ago. Truck has factory skid plates. No refunds after the fact so please make sure you know what you are bidding on. You will not find too many this complete and with the 351. Thank you! . The truck has been sitting for a week and when I started it up it is smoking. I started it 15 minutes later and it was not doing it so I am not sure what it is. Could be gas because the carb is not adjusted right or it could be oil. I have about $3500 into this truck. My loss is your gain
