This K1600GTL is ready to ride. Only 5,400 miles, just broken in, excellent condition. The K1600GTL is probably as good a sport tourer as you can find anywhere, certainly the best I ever owned. It has it all: huge torque from just about off idle, serious speed, weather protection, full engine management (ABS, traction control, ride mode), electronically-controlled suspension, integrated navigation, Bluetooth, radio, MP3 input, adaptive headlight, tire pressure monitor, LED fog lights, ESA II, power central locking system, anti-theft alarm, storage & more. It's even got almost 2 years' worth of warranty left. After 45 years of riding though, I'm slowing down so the BMW has to go. It's in excellent condition and just got its 5,000 mile tuneup with BMW full synthetic oil. I've had no problems with it at all. It's mostly stock with the following aftermarket additions: Auxiliary LED brake light (top box) - safety Internal Gerbings power controller (right side fairing) - survival in the Rockies Cee Bailey medium height windshield - an excellent improvement in airflow controlHyperlites on the license plate assembly - safety Altrider tipover bars with the tabs for the fog lights – a much tighter & nicer looking bar & fog light mount The only blemish I can find on it is about a 3” cosmetic scratch on the lower front side edge of the left side case (on the black plastic part - see photo). It happened in a hotel elevator. You can find it by bending down with a flashlight or taking the case off the bike. It's virtually invisible unless you know it's there but I needed to list it.
