I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Cadillac DeVille d'Elegance. This Caddy comes to us as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE. I would rate the exterior of this Cadillac to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking DeVille. It is finished in black over black with factory chrome wheels for a fantastic look. Although this vehicle has a few noticeable scratches on the hood and trunk (presumably from a purse), the paint shines very well and looks great. There is no noteworthy damage to the body and everything lines up nice and straight. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The factory chrome wheels show well and are wrapped in a decent set of rubber. The tires show average tread. I would rate the interior of this Cadillac to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for an older vehicle. The dash and headliner are clean. The black leather seats show well throughout the interior. The little plastic panel on the side of the drivers seat is broken, as is common as these vehicles age. The wood interior trim shows well. The stereo system is original and sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. There are steering wheel controls for both the audio and climate control systems. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The trunk is spacious, clean and closes automatically as it should. This DeVille comes with two sets of keys. Mechanically, this Cadillac appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L Northstar V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front bushings feel thin from age and should be replaced soon. The car is drivable but you can definitely feel it. The brakes stop this Caddy as they should. The steering feels fine, save for the aforementioned bushings that need replaced. The engine maintains an acceptable temperature and makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. You can feel a slight vibration but it doesn't pull. New bushings would take care of all of the drivability issues this car has. It has good PA safety and emissions inspections, too. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of this listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1998 Cadillac DeVille d'Elegance. This Caddy comes to us as a fresh NEW CAR TRADE. I would rate the exterior of this Cadillac to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking DeVille. It is finished in black over black with factory chrome wheels for a fantastic look. Although this vehicle has a few noticeable scratches on the hood and trunk (presumably from a purse), the paint shines very well and looks great. There is no noteworthy damage to the body and everything lines up nice and straight. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The factory chrome wheels show well and are wrapped in a decent set of rubber. The tires show average tread.
I would rate the interior of this Cadillac to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for an older vehicle. The dash and headliner are clean. The black leather seats show well throughout the interior. The little plastic panel on the side of the drivers seat is broken, as is common as these vehicles age. The wood interior trim shows well. The stereo system is original and sounds great. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. It offers independent settings for the driver and passenger. There are steering wheel controls for both the audio and climate control systems. The air conditioner will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The power windows, locks, seats and mirrors all appear to be working properly. The trunk is spacious, clean and closes automatically as it should. This DeVille comes with two sets of keys.
Mechanically, this Cadillac appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 4.6L Northstar V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front bushings feel thin from age and should be replaced soon. The car is drivable but you can definitely feel it. The brakes stop this Caddy as they should. The steering feels fine, save for the aforementioned bushings that need replaced. The engine maintains an acceptable temperature and makes good power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. You can feel a slight vibration but it doesn't pull. New bushings would take care of all of the drivability issues this car has. It has good PA safety and emissions inspections, too. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
