Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Audi S4 sedan. The S4 is Audi's entry level performance sedan which is aimed at the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG of the time. I would rate the exterior of this S4 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in Audi Pearl which is a gorgeous color. There is visible damage to the hood. Also, the car appears to have been painted on the left side as there is a slight color variation from front to back. Overall, this is a good looking Audi. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The headlights have been upgraded to one piece smoked housings which look great against the tinted windows. The original alloys have been updated with wheels from a newer A4 which look good. The tires have average tread all around. I would rate the interior of this S4 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Audi shows very well. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The deeply bolstered leather seats also show very well and are extremely comfortable and supportive. The wood trim is all intact and shows very well with no damage or discoloration. The center arm rest is in excellent condition and works properly. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too! The audio system is the original Audi Symphony Sound which sounds great. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. Both front seats are heated. The trunk is spacious and clean. This S4 comes with a full set of correct Audi mats. Mechanically, this S4 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.7L BiTurbo V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this S4 feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the car easily but do show pulsation under heavy braking loads. Other than a Borla exhaust (which sounds great:), this S4 appears to be completely stock. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. The engine makes good power and runs well. There is a check engine light on for the secondary air injection fan...which is a common thing with these cars and does not effect drivability of the car. The only other thing to mention is that the coolant warning light comes and goes in the information center. I've checked the level and it is fine. The car mantains proper temperature at all times so I would blame the little sensor for malfunctioning. It should not be too much to repair (if you care to do so). The Tiptronic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. If you're looking for a perfect S4, this is probably not the car for you...given the cosmetic issues and the few small things that need replaced or repaired. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how each one runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Audi S4 sedan. The S4 is Audi's entry level performance sedan which is aimed at the BMW M3 and Mercedes-Benz C43 AMG of the time. I would rate the exterior of this S4 to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in Audi Pearl which is a gorgeous color. There is visible damage to the hood. Also, the car appears to have been painted on the left side as there is a slight color variation from front to back. Overall, this is a good looking Audi. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The headlights have been upgraded to one piece smoked housings which look great against the tinted windows. The original alloys have been updated with wheels from a newer A4 which look good. The tires have average tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this S4 to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and milage of this vehicle. As you can see, the interior of this Audi shows very well. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age. The deeply bolstered leather seats also show very well and are extremely comfortable and supportive. The wood trim is all intact and shows very well with no damage or discoloration. The center arm rest is in excellent condition and works properly. The dash and headliner are clean, too. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too! The audio system is the original Audi Symphony Sound which sounds great. The power windows, locks, seats, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. Both front seats are heated. The trunk is spacious and clean. This S4 comes with a full set of correct Audi mats.
Mechanically, this S4 appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.7L BiTurbo V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension on this S4 feels tight and well sorted. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop the car easily but do show pulsation under heavy braking loads. Other than a Borla exhaust (which sounds great:), this S4 appears to be completely stock. Out on the highway, she drives pretty well. The engine makes good power and runs well. There is a check engine light on for the secondary air injection fan...which is a common thing with these cars and does not effect drivability of the car. The only other thing to mention is that the coolant warning light comes and goes in the information center. I've checked the level and it is fine. The car mantains proper temperature at all times so I would blame the little sensor for malfunctioning. It should not be too much to repair (if you care to do so). The Tiptronic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. If you're looking for a perfect S4, this is probably not the car for you...given the cosmetic issues and the few small things that need replaced or repaired. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
