Here's a super cool BASE (?!?) model Volvo loaded up with leather, ICE COLD AIR, and plenty of recent servicing to have this car lasting for a long time without spending a dime! I've personally driven this car (as I always do) for at least 100+ miles to ensure it's reliability. No worries. No Reserve. The original hubcaps were missing a member of the team. So I ditched those in favor of some nicer units. A little bit of chrome flair never hurt especially on a recently painted black car!! Yes the car has been repainted. It's a great job, shines well but since it looks a couple years old, the paint has cured/hardened properly. Could still use a wetsanding and professional buff. Or...leave it AS-IS because it looks GREAT! The front bumper cover looks justlikenew2u!! Maybe if I crawled around to look, I'd find a rockchip or 2. But for the most part, flawless. Even the license plate brackets are in nice painted unrusted condition! Below you can see the Hancook tires are recently replaced with easily 80+% tread life left. All tires ride on smooth vibration free rims at any speeds. As you probably imagined with a recent paintjob, there are also minimal dings and scratches. The car looks amazing. Below you can see the hint of dull in the reflection, yet it all matches so it's not out of line. Personally?? I'd wetsand it. Buff it. Then sit back and be amazed at how it will be BETTER than the factory paintjob!! Find a set of common bigger Volvo rims to install and BAM! A whole new car again! Or....leave it alone and drive the wheels off of it!! With this car's mileage, it's still a baby! Above...the DEAD GIVEAWAY on a Volvo. Rust = prior paintwork. Outside the 40 series cars, Volvo's just don't rust...on their own. I assure you tho, this is the ONLY small noticeable area and it's not very big. Probably wouldn't have noticed it until you dried it off after a wash it's so small. Note thre REAR bumper cover is ridiculously straight too! And amazingly, the vinyl areas are minimally faded. They all look great. Below...you can see the sole major dent on the car. Like someone butted up to it while slamming it shut. It can probably be popped out if desired. Below...2 more tiny spots that I point out...because that's how I am. A headlight lens rockchip and a trim spider crack. Neither are bad or affect anything. NOTE: the "Volvo" badging on the lens to show some of it's originality (ie: not majorly wrecked-Autocheck shows 3 owners and ZERO accidents). So a previous owner simply repainted the car because they wanted to! The interior is even more glorious than the exterior! Easy 9 out of 10. The steering wheel shows some wear. Minimal driver's bolster wear. Absolutley no damages, holes, cuts, rips, etc to the leather. Door panels look amazing. Remember the age of this car, don't forget! Above and below you can see ALL the dummy lights illuminate upon startup with only the ABS light staying on. Full disclosure: I fix these ABS/TRAC light issues all the time. Not a big deal. Crack em open, solder the terminals, glue em shut, drive the car. Fixed. This time?? Couldn't get one of the 4 tiny bolts off. It stripped. Time permitting, I could have gotten it off, but when you come out to pick up your new toy, you will see the amount of work I have. MY LOSS, YOUR GAIN! And no, the "repair" isn't buy a new $800 ABS unit. Many people online fix them for $50. You can also drive the car without the ABS unit in it until it comes back to you. Or....leave it alone and it may randomly work. BTW this car didn't come with traction control, hence no TRAC light illuminated. Not really sure what makes the difference since the traction control and ABS are one unit. I'd bet it's ONLY a switch in the dash that adds or takes it away! Volvo is good for the "dealer installed" options back then. As far as I can tell all the power items work as they should: ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, power driver's seat, dual climate control, power windows, locks. heated power mirrors, transmission controls, AM/FM/Cassette, cruise, etc. Above you can see the FULL original factory issued floormats are included and the full spare tire setup is intact and ready for your roadtrip home. NOTE: the shot of the spare tire. A keen eye will notice it's brand new/unused! Nipples are still on it! Seriously....pick a spot on the interior and eat off it!! Super clean. I hate smoke and altho I may have seen a few possible spots(as in passenger area), I can't smell any signs of a former smoker. Here's the heart and soul of a reliable Volvo! Spotless engine compartment! Not all greased up with shiney spray. Clean. Tidy. No signs of any major oil or coolant leaks. No overheating. Fluids are clean. Even has the original oil dipstick tag! Spark plugs are recent. Air filter is clean. No engine lights on, hesitations, or problems. TIMING BELT was changed back at 67k BEFORE it was due leaving it with at least 30k left before it's next service interval. I inspected the belt and it is fine with no signs of dryrot or cracking. Waterpump is clean and oil tensioner is updated. Upper motormount is a new polyeurethane type that will outlast the car. Brakes feel great with no unusual pulsing or grinding. Will easily throw you thru the dashboard if needed. Suspension/drivetrain is tight and noisefree with no squeaking or unusual pulling or wandering. Battery is very recent and starts the car easily. Engine runs ridiculously smooth and transmission shifts as it should in all gears. INSPECT my excellent feedbacks. Get in and go. BID, BUY, and DRIVE ANYWHERE with 100% CONFIDENCE!! NO RESERVE!!
