Vehicle Detail
I'll keep the listing for this Bronco short and sweet and let the features and pictures do the talking. I highly recommend that you do some research as you'll discover these later model Broncos are the most versatile, roomy, well equipped, reliable examples that Ford has produced. You are bidding on a near new condition final production year 1996 5.8 liter Bronco XLT. I purchased this beauty from a collector in early 2009 with an odometer reading just shy of 48,000 miles. As evident by its condition and records, the original Midwest owners garaged and absolutely babied this truck. No evidence or reason to believe its ever been subject to off roading, inclement weather, or even towing. Just in case, however, this Bronco comes factory equipped with push button, part time Four Wheel Drive (fully operational), tow package, and a heavy duty chassis and suspension anti corrosion coating. The 351 cu. in., 210 hp Windsor V8 is matched to a smooth shifting 4 speed automatic OD trans and together providing PLENTY of towing/hauling/climbing power. Yes, at 13mpg city/16 Hwy, it guzzles gas. We know this, however range is not an issue thanks to its 32 gallon tank. I've averaged over 400, comfortable highway miles per tank. It features the XLT package: power door locks, mirrors, windows, pneumatic seat cushion support, all in working order. Full size spare with cover. Full leather seating was added as a factory option. Other than a modern Sanyo CD player, and the heavy duty rubber floor mat set, both tastefully added by the previous owner, this Bronco is fully stock and original. As owner for the past four years, I have maintained this vehicle consistent with its previous owners. With slightly over 53,000 miles, I average less than 1,500 miles per year. Torn between two other vehicles and little free time, I simply don't drive this vehicle often enough nor do I take advantage of its utility. Rest assured, it is 'exercised' almost daily. Mostly on city pavement with the occasional mountain trip or tailgating event. What little scheduled maintenance required has been complied with: regular oil/filter/fluid changes etc. Early power brake, factory recall complied with (tag to prove it) . Original window sticker and service records included. Only fed super unleaded fuel...not required, but worth it in my opinion. A/C blows ice cold. In the past year: new front brake pads installed, rear drums dealer inspected and found to be in like new condition. New, Ford dealer installed drive shaft slip yoke plus new full front end satellite bushing set (common dry rot items on a 17 yr old vehicle) restores this Bronco to its original, tight handling, squeak free, factory original ride. Truly a fun vehicle to drive. I'd trust it anywhere, no question. Dry undercarriage with no leaks whatsoever. As you'll see for yourself, cosmetically, I'd consider this Bronco in very good to excellent condition. Despite the luxury of having an adequate garage, I've maintained her original white paint with regular washing and Zymol wax products(not cheap). Just a couple of hardly noticeable, exterior blemishes. Top is in great shape...never removed, therefore no leaks. Exterior rubber/vinyl in like new condition. As for the interior, save very minor wear and on the drivers seat side and bolster, the leather is nearly perfect. Rear bench included,(not pictured to reveal available rear storage potential) appears unused...all seats maintained with 'Leather CPR'. Carpeting very good with new condition factory carpet floor mats protected by a custom fit, fully washable, rubber mat set. Must see and drive this exceptional Bronco to appreciate. Unlike others you'll notice, I've set a very reasonable reserve price for what I know through ownership to be a beautiful, dependable, head turning classic which is sure to provide years of utility and enjoyment.
