1971 Buick LeSabre Custom 2DR HT 20,010 Mile Survivor *U N R E S T O R E D* I purchased this car in the spring of 2006. It had just 18,588 miles at the time. I really value and appreciate low mileage original cars. This car is absolutely rock solid. Although I have only put on about 250 miles a year, I would drive her anywhere! She runs strong! After some research, I now have a history of the car from new. I have the name of the original owner 1971-2000 (now deceased) from Ohio and have spoken to his son. The story goes the original owner and his brother had matching '71 LeSabre's, one gold, one blue. The first owner took great care of this car for nearly thirty years. It had about 13,000 miles at the time of the original owner's passing. There is paperwork on the car from 2001 on. I have the two build sheets. I will include lots of "odds and ends" with the car like a 1971 Buick dealer brochure, service manual, owner's manual, and more. The pictures speak for themselves. It looks and drives like a car that just turned 20 thousand miles should. I have really enjoyed taking the car to car shows and the car has won trophies at local shows. I have been a member of the Buick Club of America since the 1980's. I am most proud of the Buick Club of America Jersey Shore Chapter Car Show 2012 Dealer's Choice Trophy. This Buick was chosen by Keyport New Jersey Buick dealer Mr. Ken Straub and his family over many other knock out Buicks because it really is that special. I will never forget that feeling when the car was announced as Dealer's Choice... that really made my day! Buick guys (and gals) love this LeSabre ... and it's easy to see why! This car looks and feels like you've stepped back in time to the 1970's! It's amazing to think this car is 42 years old. The current condition is a testament to the care she received from day one.
