The Details; The all steel body on this 1969 Volkswagen Beetle is arrow straight. The body fit and finish is exceptional. It was finished to a high quality mirror-glass in its original light Blue color and the finish is outstanding certainly show worthy. All the chrome and emblems and trim are all excellent like new thru-out. All the glass is excellent. It has the full chrome wheels that really make this Beetle standout. This 1969 Beetle is a loved and admired wherever it goes. The interior has been redone to excellent condition. Only the original white headliner remains untouched which has minor light curl around the rear window and 2 small pencil sized holes. It has mint black door panels, new correct carpets, the original black buckets front seats were redone, the original radio is intact, an Alpine CD stereo was added under the dash properly without altering anything, the beautiful original steering wheel an excellent interior. The engine detailing is correct original under the rear lid and to see that sweet German masterpiece 1600 rebuilt and very clean with all the detail is a joy indeed. The chassis, floors torque tubes are immaculate rust-free rock solid with no issues. This is a super solid pristine example that is a rarity to see in this condition. The Mechanics; only 3585 miles since completion; The heart of this Beetle is its fresh rebuilt excellent running 1600 engine mated to a 4 speed gearbox that shifts smooth and tight. This is an excellent running and driving Beetle. It is a pleasure to drive anywhere with great gas mileage and these days that really does matter. This Beetle has very few miles since the restoration was completed. At the time of the restoration all mechanical and electrical systems and components were gone thru anything needed was either rebuilt or replaced. This car runs like new it has excellent handling, braking and feels rock solid with that wonderful old world German quality on the road.
