This bike was purchased new by my father who passed away in 1986. He put over 15,000 of the 18k miles that are currently on the machine. The bike has always been stored inside. Prior to any season that the bike was ran, either my father or I made sure the oil was changed. The engine runs very clean in terms of smoking. The bike currently has a new battery that is still under its warranty. There is a dent in the gas tank on the right side from something my father did. The bike runs quite well but could use some minor fine tuning. The lights all work properly. The bike will start using kick or electric. Most of the time I don't need to use the choke. The chrome looks fair and should be able to improve with further care. The exhaust system is after market as is the seat. The seat is in good shape with no tears. I had planned to restore the bike to near new but I felt that someone else would do a better job than me. It may be that the winning bidder would just like to ride it as is. I feel it could be ridden quite far right from here but recommend it either be trailered or have new tires installed if you want to ride home. Otherwise it is "travel at your own risk". Since the bike is an older model and is Classic in nature you will be buying as is. No returns will be accepted whatsoever!
