This bike is part of the BMW adventure series line (GS models). It's a versatile, reliable bike that will take you anywhere you want to go whether it be across the country or tough terrain off road trails. Watch some of the you tube videos on this bike, it's amazing what it can do. Enduro bike enthusiasts have nothing but praise reviews for it. One of the most awesome aspects is the fuel mileage. I average 55 mpg in town and 60-70 mpg on trips and that's with a passenger. The Sertao package comes with heated handle grips (high or low heat), engine guard, and longer front forks for more ground clearance. It also has ABS brakes. This bike is just as fun to drive in town as it is off road. Take a short cut through a field or jump the curb, or lay it down on a fast corner, get technical and cut between cars. The handling and maneuverability are like that of a dirt bike. With only 3,800 miles driven it is just finishing it's break in period and has had it's initial dealer break in service and just recently it's second oil change. Dealer warranty is 3 years or 36,000 miles through BMW of Fresno. If you're wondering why I'm giving up such an awesome bike so early in it's life, it is so I can buy a truck. Wish I could afford both. It's a single cylinder, 3.7 gallon fuel tank (2.7 gal, 1 gal reserve), runs on premium. It is water cooled and also has fans that kick in when at a long idle. Also the front sprocket came factory with a 16 tooth, I changed it to a 17 tooth for lower RPMs and better fuel mileage, it still has torque and pep to spare off road (still have the original sprocket). I also bought the service manual disc so if you want to service or fix anything yourself, everything from changing out the engine to an oil change is in there. This bike is a "take notice" bike. The market is not saturated with them so when people see it they take notice and it stands out with a rare quality and gets compliments daily. Take advantage of the summer weather and adventure out.
