Vehicle Detail
Hello there! I am selling my 2000 F350, which has been the family vacation vehicle for 12 years now. It has taken my family nationwide with our camper. (It has not been a commercial towing pickup.) It has been a great family vehicle but it is now time to move on. It was purchased brand new by me and I performed all the maintenance on it myself. I performed regular oil changes at 5,000 miles using “Synthetic Rotella”. I serviced the transmission every 50,000 miles and the axles every 75,000 miles using synthetic gear oil. I replaced the injectors at 100,000. The truck has a “Banks Six Gun Tuner” and the full “Banks Exhaust Turbo Back”, which was added 4 years ago. 20K “Reese Fifth Wheel” installed with the lower bracket kit and an Air Lift air suspension. A “Tenkosha” electric brake controller is also installed. The truck has never been in a collision or wrecked. What is so GREAT about this truck you ask?? · It has always brought us home safely · It’s a great looking truck · Runs and shifts perfectly Add-ons! · “Reese” fifth wheel with support brackets and air lift suspension · “Banks” exhaust · “Banks” Six Gun Tuner · Rubber bed mat · “Michelin” tires (half worn) · “Eagle” rims · “Tenkosha” brake controller · Ford factory high performance air filter housing and filter Here are the not so good parts about the truck… · The bed looks great but the cross members are rusted out and need to be replaced · The driver’s door has rust on the bottom edge · The driver’s seat needs leather repair I don’t have time to complete these repairs this year. It is well worth the effort of keeping, but I’ve been a diesel mechanic for 35 years, and never have been one to have someone else fix something on one of my own vehicles. That being said, I have run out of spare time before vacation and have already purchased another truck. THIS TRUCK IS 100% TOW READY RIGHT NOW CROSSMEMBERS COULD BE A WINTER PROJECT IT JUST RATTLES A BITOn Apr-25-13 at 19:02:06 PDT, seller added the following information: should add replaced last year as normal maintenance: ball joints all tie rods/drag link/center link front hubs/bearings all brakes/rotors oil pan has been replaced as all 1999-2001 superduty diesels seem to need oil pans from rust through
