I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the listing BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 4x4. The S-10 has a long standing reputation as a tough and rugged little truck. I would rate the exterior of this Chevy S-10 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a sharp looking truck. It is the basic fleet model finished in while with black trim. The body of this truck is in outstanding condition for an older truck. There looks to be a rust hole on the right cab corner (which is covered over and painted) and a few small bubbles here and there but nothing ugly. If you want, you can get a new cab corner pretty cheap...or leave it as-is. There is no noteworthy damage to the exterior. The bed is also in better than average condition. The tail gate opens and closes easily. All of the lights work. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The wheels show well and are wrapped in a nice set of matching tires with deep tread all around. I would rate the interior of this S-10 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Again, the interior is pretty basic as this truck is in fleet trim. It is pretty easy to clean. The door panels are clean. The vinyl bench seat is in good condition and has integrated cup holders in the center which are really handy. The rubber floor is also easy to clean. The heater works well. The radio is original and also works as it should. There really isn't much to say about the interior... Mechanically, this S-10 appears to be in good running and driving condition. I've personally put well over 100 miles on this truck as I've been using it for some personal projects. The 4.3L Vortec V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels nice and tight all around. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this truck with no issues. Out on the road, she gets around great! The engine keeps excellent oil pressure and perfect temperature. There have been no warning lights on. The engine makes great power and performs well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. This truck has a current PA safety and emissions inspection so she is ready to go. The miles may be slightly higher than the photo as I am still using this truck as needed. A good running, inspected truck that is good on gas is invaluable...beats the pants off of running a V8 full sized truck to Lowes all the time. The engine makes great power and performs well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. Out on the highway, she cruises nice and straight with no complaints. This truck has a current PA safety and emissions inspection so she is ready to go. The miles may be slightly higher than the photo as I am still using this truck as needed. A good running, inspected truck that is good on gas is invaluable...beats the pants off of running a V8 full sized truck to Lowes all the time. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
