I purchased this 2005 Suzuki dr650 dual sport in April of 2012. I originally intended to buy something that I could ride to work and still ride with my son on his Yamaha PW80. Well, the latter never happened. My son never really got in to riding too much and all I ever did was ride back and forth to work!! I have never had this bike off road. There are some small scratches on the plastic and the engine covers from the previous owner. The bike rides great and has plenty of power. I am a big guy and it runs just fine with myself and my son on it. Although I really love this bike(it is so nimble and easy to ride), the time has come for me to move on. My son wants to ride more on road with me and this isnt the bike for that. This past fall before it was parked for the winter, it had an oil change, new spark plug, and new battery. I had it inspected then and it is good in Pennsylvania through September, 2013. The original tires had seen better days and they were replaced with new Kenda rubber front and rear. They are 80/20 tires meaning designed for 80 percent street riding and 20 percent off road. I went with these due to the fact that most miles put on are on road. There are also new front brake pads on it. I do have a new Clymer service manual that goes along with it as well as a 14 tooth front sprocket that the last owner gave me. Also some scratches on the bark busters. I really hate to get rid of it but I need a cruiser or something bigger for my son and I. This bike gets great gas mileage and will cruise at 75 MPH all day long if you want. This a NO RESERVE auction. After the first bid, it is up to you to see who wins it.
