I'm selling a 2002 Honda XR650R of which I'm the third owner. When I purchased it the previous owner had added lots of new red anodized parts, He also took the engine apart and rebuilt it with 0 miles while adding a weisco piston and hotcams -- cam. I would give a realistic estimate of about 2,000 total miles on the body of the bike. Almost all of the parts I've added to convert it over have less than 500 miles. The bike was originally built strong for the baja, however an illness and the lack of time from the previous owner never allowed this to happen and only woods riding was done. I purchased it with the full intention of converting it over to full Supermoto street duty bike and in doing so no expense was spared. The bike starts every time and has never left me stranded. Currently I've invested around 10K worth of upgrades to it. The only thing the bike could use is a more modern front headlight to replace the ugly factory unit. Originally installed were the older style forks and front end. I then converted everything over from the CRF 450R with brand new everything. I installed the following: Brand new CRF 450 forks conversion bearing set Brembo brakes with radial mount caliper (2k worth) EBC 320mm disc Brembo radial mounted caliper with special bracket Brembo heavdy duty large capacity master cylinder stainless front brake line Weisco piston Hotcams -- cam Uncorked the carb Excel rims, RAD hubs with *kush drive*, custom spokes and nipples (almost 3K alone) Avon Distanzias less than 500 miles BRP triple clamps Fat bars Scott steering stabilizer SM hand guards New grips Trail Tech GPS speedo - control unit (not installed yet) DID chain New sprockets Pro Circuit FULL exhaust 5 gallon desert gas tank - older with some weird surface cracks. Doesnt leak at all. Cold air intake The Nevada title is clean and clear (with BRANDED) as the notes. This should allow it to now be a "Dual sport bike" The brand new plate have current tags on it. The only item of note is when I finished all the mods and took it out for a test ride one of the bolts that holds the rear chain guide came loose and scratched the new rear rim. Its not super bad because I caught it BUT I was pissed and the rear rim is less then flawless. As far as shipping is concerned, I can have it crated and shipped anywhere.
