Vehicle Detail

1993 Dodge Cummins Turbo Diesel 264,000 miles 5.9L diesel with automaic transmission w/OD 2 wheel drive extended cab. Power brakes, power windows, power door locks, tilt steering, center console, bucket seats, air conditioning, am/fm radio all work. Cruise control does not work. Truck drives very straight, alignment is good. There is a little slop in the steering. Rotors/drums could stand being turned. It shakes some when brakes are applied. It also pulls to the left a little when brakes are applied but I call that part of my circle track setup:) I believe both the shaking/pulling to left would be fixed with rotors and drums being turned (usually about $10 per wheel if you do it yourself). Transmission shifts good. Runs and drives good, starts up right away every time and is a dependable truck. All lights/gauges work Good tires with plenty of tread. No leaks. Previous owner installed a shutoff cable because sometimes the fuel shutof solenoid does not work. I bought a fuel shutoff solenoid but it is not installed. Everyone says not to worry about it. Gets good gas mileage (21 mpg with mix of city/highway driving) yet can still haul heavy loads. It is a dependable truck. Has rear overload springs, brake controller, and receiver hitch. It's ready to tow/haul. I just put a mechanical gauge on after it had been running a long time and the oil pressure was lowest I've seen at idle. At idle, hot, it got 25 PSI. Specs in manual are for a minimum of 10 PSI at idle. This truck has a lot of life left in it. I believe the idle speed needs to be adjusted, downward just some. The reason I say this is that sometime the truck will shake at idle, when it's IN GEAR, say at a stoplight. As soon I put it in park or neutral, the shake goes away. It doesn't always do this, but sometimes. I noticed that when it idles lower at a stoplight, there is no shake and it's smooth. Please call with any questions, though I'm telling about everything I know about this truck here. I cannot tell you about the mechanics of the diesel engine, like if some screw has been turned or the pump has been worked over. From what I see it hasn't been touched, and nobody has done anything to it. And it definitely doesn't "roll coal." If it did I wouldn't have bought it but what you do with it is your choice. PLEASE NOTE. SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE MONEY THAT YOU ARE ENTERING FOR YOUR MAX BID, DO NOT BID. BIDDERS WITH LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK ARE SUBJECT TO HAVE THEIR BIDS REMOVED IF THEY DO NOT CONTACT ME FIRST. I am serious about selling this truck and can only accept serious bidders. My 100% feedback is due to the fact I'm honest in my dealings. I believe I listed both the good and bad on this truck and gave the most accurate, honest opinion of it. I will work with you to come take a look at it, or have an "agent" inspect it if you are not in the area. One thing I do know is I need to sell the truck which is why I'm doing this. Truck is for sale locally so auction may be cancelled at any time.
