My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchases. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Honda Civic EX sedan with a manual transmission. The Honda Civic needs no introduction...and this specific Civic is a prime example of what happens when a well made vehicle is properly maintained. I would rate the exterior of this Civic to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this Civic is nowhere near new. It is dark gray with matching gray interior. The exterior is showing signs of oxidation and paint fade which is common with older Honda's. Also, there are a few rust bubbles on the fenders which is also common with older Honda's. There is no noteworthy damage to report...just a quarter million miles worth of wear and tear. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The factory wheel covers still show well. The tires look good and have average tread all around. The one rear door does not open from the outside (door handle must be broken internally b/c it opens from the inside). Again...she isn't pretty but shows well for her age. I would rate the interior of this Civic EX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Being an EX trim Civic, it is pretty well optioned on the inside. The door panels and seats are trimmed in nice cloth, not the cheapo stuff the base models get. The door panels and seats show very well and could easily pass for half the miles. The carpets also show well for the age of this Civic. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The stereo system is the original equipment. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner still blows ICE COLD AIR!!! The trunk is spacious and clean. Two keys as well as the original owners manual are included. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Civic. Mechanically, this Civic appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.6L single cam VTEC engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight for an older car. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Civic with no issues. Out on the road, this Civic drives very well. I have well over 100 miles on this Honda and I have been very impressed with how she drives. The exhaust rattles a little (probably a broken hanger)...but nothing major to complain about. The engine makes good power and revs eagerly. The engine keeps perfect operating temperature. Other than an ABS light, there are no warning lights on. She cruises easily down the highway with no problems. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and smooth. +++According to the title I have, this Civic has had the same owner since it had 39k miles!!! That means that this Civic has been driven by the same person for the last 220k miles and it shows. Aside from some age to the exterior which is hard to avoid, this Civic looks to have been cared for and respected by her previous owner. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchases. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions at the bottom of the listing carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Honda Civic EX sedan with a manual transmission. The Honda Civic needs no introduction...and this specific Civic is a prime example of what happens when a well made vehicle is properly maintained. I would rate the exterior of this Civic to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this Civic is nowhere near new. It is dark gray with matching gray interior. The exterior is showing signs of oxidation and paint fade which is common with older Honda's. Also, there are a few rust bubbles on the fenders which is also common with older Honda's. There is no noteworthy damage to report...just a quarter million miles worth of wear and tear. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The factory wheel covers still show well. The tires look good and have average tread all around. The one rear door does not open from the outside (door handle must be broken internally b/c it opens from the inside). Again...she isn't pretty but shows well for her age.
I would rate the interior of this Civic EX to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Being an EX trim Civic, it is pretty well optioned on the inside. The door panels and seats are trimmed in nice cloth, not the cheapo stuff the base models get. The door panels and seats show very well and could easily pass for half the miles. The carpets also show well for the age of this Civic. The dash and headliner are clean. The power windows, locks, mirrors and sunroof all work properly. The stereo system is the original equipment. The climate control system appears to be working properly. The air conditioner still blows ICE COLD AIR!!! The trunk is spacious and clean. Two keys as well as the original owners manual are included. Pride in ownership shows throughout this Civic.
Mechanically, this Civic appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 1.6L single cam VTEC engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight for an older car. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Civic with no issues. Out on the road, this Civic drives very well. I have well over 100 miles on this Honda and I have been very impressed with how she drives. The exhaust rattles a little (probably a broken hanger)...but nothing major to complain about. The engine makes good power and revs eagerly. The engine keeps perfect operating temperature. Other than an ABS light, there are no warning lights on. She cruises easily down the highway with no problems. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and smooth. +++According to the title I have, this Civic has had the same owner since it had 39k miles!!! That means that this Civic has been driven by the same person for the last 220k miles and it shows. Aside from some age to the exterior which is hard to avoid, this Civic looks to have been cared for and respected by her previous owner. We always disclose any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test. Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
