1972 Triumph Trident

This 1972 Trident is a very nice, original spec bike that runs and sounds great. The tank and side panels have been professionally repainted in the correct colors. Wheels rims have nice chrome. Tires are good. Fenders and headlight have nice chrome. Seat has a new cover. The engine sounds very good, no smoke, shifts smooth through all 5 gears. It is British and will mark its spot with a few drops of oil after a good ride. Mufflers look to be original and have good chrome. The original exhaust headers are a little dull and the decals on the side panels have a few wrinkles. Bike has matching numbers and a clean Virginia title. This 41 year old motorcycle is being sold with no warranty. This is not a show bike but has won awards when I have entered it in competitions. I would call it a very nice looking daily rider. Like all triples, it really pulls strong above 5000 RPM and sound terrific. I have four other BSA/Triumph triples and need to simplify a little bit. I will need a $1000 payment through PayPal within 24 hours to hold the bike. Shipping arrangements and costs are the responsibility of the Buyer but I will help with the pickup.
