1949 Ford 2-Door Sedan V8 Flathead Clear Title. Interior color gray and white. Number of cylinders 8. Transmission manual. Body tyle 2 door sedan. Vehicle title clear. Exterior color satin yellow. This is a original 1949 Ford 2 door. Just like the one I drove to High School in 1957. The floors and body are in excellent original condition. I bought it a few years ago to relive my youth. Oh well, so much for that. I have installed a complete duel exhaust system with fenton headers and glass packed mufflers. New front and rear H.D. shocks. New brake system including hoses, wheel cyls, master cyl, shoe and linings, new brake springs. Both water pumps and hoses are new. New front motor mounts. New (not rebuilt) carburator. New elec. fuel pump, filter and regulator. New 12 volt generator and regulator. Wheel beatings repacked. New carpet and floor mats. New seat belts. 2" lowering blocks. Fender skirts. Oldsmobile flipper hubcaps. New points., plugs, rotor, cup, coil, wires. New fan belt. All new parts have 50 miles on them. The car was stored in the 2nd owners garage for 30 years. He than put it in a body shop for a repaint. He passed away when in the body shop. I bought it from the body shop. It has a clear Texas title in my name with a Texas Antique vehicle lic plate good till March 2018. The car has 66,000 on the odometer which I was told is near original. The ford starts, drives down the road and stops fine for a 64 year old car. I have a new front windshield with a new seal to go with the car. All the glass and seals are origional.
