This is a 1952 F-100 Stepside -This is a 100% Rust Free "black and yellow" Plate California truck since new -The body, chassis and frame are completely solid and original -The truck is a true survivor and was completely restored a number of years ago (39,378 miles since restored) -The best part about this truck is that all the hard work has already been done It has what we believe is a 327 or 350 Chevy engine conversion with power steering and power brakes. Needless to say the truck runs and drives amazingly well. Very fast (burns rubber) and is very powerful. She runs extremely well...... -The engine accelerates superbly and has a lot of torque -Starts immediately -Very quiet with excellent idle speed (can hardly hear it running) -The transmission shift like clockwork (high performance Hurst Shifter) -The brakes, steering and suspension are all in tip top condition (lots of fun to drive).... -All gages work and show normal readings -Handles like a much newer vehicle and certainly does not feel like your driving a 60+ year old truck. -The paint finish still has a beautiful and lustrous shine, however the paint is old and does have various imperfections (nicks, chips, dings, small dents, scratches, etc). -Nice chrome with attractive wheels and (good tires) 50% tread remaining -The glass does have various cracks in the quarter windows etc. -All windows and doors open and close tightly with very nice panel fit and alignment -The interior is nice overall but could use some work if you want perfection -Beautifully redone headliner with working original dome light This truck is very special and the best part about it is that you can enjoy as-is, or make perfect overtime. Regardless, the new owner will be pleased. As far as the color is concerned the best way to describe it is a plum color during the day and black at night.
