Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1935 Chevy Truck. This truck looks to have originally come out of Virginia. It was purchased from an estate. Most of the amateur restoration was done by the previous owner. It has been sitting for many years! I got it running and replaced the complete wiring harness. The truck runs and drives. It actually runs good and the motor looks to be rebuilt. No leaks and it does not smoke. The steering box and king pins need attention. The brakes work fine as does the emergency brake. The horn and Speedo do not work. The oil pressure, fuel gauge, and temp gauge work fine. Runs nice and cool. Has about 15 lbs of oil pressure at idle! The seat has been recovered and the headliner replaced. All the glass is in good working order with no cracks. This truck has the nice feature of the windshield folding out and it also has a functional cowl vent. Doors open and close fine. The wood in the body seems good. The sheet metal on this car is amazing. I had the seat out when wiring and the cab corners are original! No rust on this truck. Very clean. The bed floor looks like it was replaced with oak. The Lester tires are old, but have good thread. I drove the truck about 5 miles. Like I said before, it has been sitting for a long time and the steering box and kingpins need attention. The truck does wander a bit. I took it up to about 40 and it felt good though. The paint looks great in the picture but it is a home painted truck and has some orange peel and some scratches from sitting over the years. Over all the appearance is nice. This is a extremely solid original truck that can be fun as is, or it is nice enough to do a complete resto for a show quality vehicle. It would also make a great traditional hot rod with a engine swap etc. $500 non refundable deposit due with in 72 hours of auction's end. Balance due upon pick up or 21 days end of auction. Winning bidder responsible for shipping. I have sold several vehicles on ebay and have had no issues even with over seas transactions. I understand how difficult buying a vehicle can be sight un seen. I have nothing to hide and live by the motto to treat others how I would like to be treated. You are more than welcome to have a third party come and inspect the truck. If you need more pictures, shoot me an email and a description of what you want pictures of. Thanks for looking and check out my other auctions, you never know what I will list next!
