Even by today's standards, Volvo made some of the coolest colors! This is one of my personal favorites. The blue/green...BEFORE the chameleon flip flop paints. Depending on how the light is hitting it, in the bright sun, it's on the green side. At night it will look blue. Either way, this car look GORGEOUS!! See for yourself! By no means is this car perfect, but for it's age it's excellent. It originally came with the plain jane steel wheels and hubcaps. I ditched those in favor of the Borbet 16" Star pattern rims I had lying around off of another Volvo project. They BELONG on this car, fit properly and look stellar. The exterior of this car looks amazing. An easy 8 out of 10 considering it's few front and rear bumper cover scratches, hood chips, and very very few tiny rust bubbles (see below pics). The vinyl looks ridiculously dark and nice. As you know, these portions are usually all dried out and faded by now. Minimal dings. No major dents or signs of body repair. But the rust bubbles had me looking and there are signs of a repaint otherwise Volvos don't easily rust. I'm no bodyman but the paint matches everywhere nicely. Below you can see the front tires have plenty of tread.Rims looks great with minimal edge rash. All ride smooth and vibration free. Rear tires have less tread but are still nice. Right rear is suspect (in the pics) so I will be replacing it with a good used tire. No charge. LOOK at this shine!!! That's pretty much it for the bubbles. All minor and hard to see until you get down to the area and look. Below the paint was a little thin by the doorhandle, so I point it out. Overzealous wetsanding I'd guess. Note the reflection around it! Interior is as nice as the exterior. Notice the leather! On a "base" model, even. Aside from a quick repair on the pasenger seat and minimal driver's lower cracking/bolster wear, the leather looks nice. Armrest is clean. Leather wrapped steering wheel looks great. ALL the power items work from what I can tell: cruise, power windows, power locks, ICE COLD AIR CONDITIONING, Hot Heat, dual climate control, heated power mirrors, AM/FM/CD player, transmission modes, etc. Above and below you can see ALL the dummy lights are off during Run and ALL the lights illuminate upon startup as they should with the exception of the "SERVICE" light which must be burned out. This light is the dealer service reminder only. When I got the car, the "Engine" light was on. I ran the codes and it showed a typical Volvo "evap leak small" as if the gas cap wasn't properly tightened. I cleared it after checking the cap and it hasn't come back on over the last 100+ miles. Above, the headliner sags in a couple spots, but not flapping on your head or in your line of sight while driving. Nice complete factory floormats are included. Unseen is the full spare setup intact aired up for your trip home. Cupholder even works!! Below you can see the entire factory issued manuals and THREE (3) keys are included. Ahhh....the nice and clean engine compartment. Super clean fluids. No signs of major oil or coolant leaks. No overheating. Timing belt was replaced with a Contitech Brand (Volvo aftermarket version). I inspected it to be sure as well. Won't need replacement for antoher 60k+ miles. Updated mechanical tensioner setup as well. No worries. Recent battery is strong. Engine fires right up and runs smoothly. Spark plugs are recent Platinums. Air filter is clean. Transmission shifts as it should. Ice COLD AC!! Suspension is noise free and smooth. No unusual wandering or pulling. Brakes are recently new front and rear, new pads AND rotors at some point over the last few months. The car is ready to go! I've logged over 150 miles to ensure it's reliability. Base model = CHEAP INSURANCE! 2.4 non-turbo + 25-30+ MPG!! Inspect my excellent feedbacks. BID, BUY, and DRIVE ANYWHERE with 100% CONFIDENCE!!
