This vehicle is my to and from work car and has been for a couple of years and it is our third car. I bought it for my wife used in 2008. We have since purchased another Volvo wagon(XC70). We live in the north GA mountains and we really needed an all wheel drive vehicle. We decided to sell this car to Car Max and they offered us $2000.00. At the time, we felt like it was worth more to us than that price and we held on to it. We have three small children and we love the room of this wagon and the third row feature. Recently, it has developed some problem that we don't want to chase. One thing may be the valve problem that many Volvos of this year model seem to have. Also, there is definitely a problem with the head. The car loses water/coolant. However, the car is still in good running condition. The sunroof and the CD player do not work. There is one minor spot of body damage above the drivers side rear wheel well. Otherwise the body condition is as would be expected for a 12+ year-old car. 17" wheels. Built-in child booster seats. 3rd row, collapsible child seat. Set of snow chains available if interested. The head problem could probably be fixed for around $600 or less, but I have not found a mechanic in the mountains that knows how to tackle the valve issue. Should be a great parts car for Volvo enthusiasts or the right car for you, if you care to put some money into it. Please pick up and car is sold as is, cash or cashiers check only.
