Up for sale is a beautiful fathom blue 1970 Chevelle L-78 car. This Chevelle has the orginal build sheet to prove that it is one of approximately 2,200 that was built with the 396 c.i. 375 h.p. motor also called the L-78. This car went through a complete nut and bolt restoration. When I restored this car I wanted to keep it as close to original as possible, I cleaned, sand blasted and painted as many of the original parts that I could. What I didn't have I bought from other collectors and vendors. Here are some of the era correct parts * MOTOR 396 cu. in. 375 hp. This motor has a 1970 (F-11-0) 4 bolt main block (TO 603 CTY) The square port heads are matching (3974291) which are correck for this motor. This motor has the correct factory intake and exhaust manifolds. This motor was professionally built buy a company that does nothing but performance motors. * TRANSMISSION This is a true hard to find orginal rock crusher out of a 1970, Has been recondition. * REAR END This is a 12 bolt with 3:31 ratio. I believe this rear end to be orginal to this car, I do not any proof oyher than the stamped numbers. Again this rear end has been over hauled. * FRONT END all parts are replaced with Moog, there is no cheap Tiwan parts here * SHOCKS all 4 are replacement sprial shocks * BUMPERS the oniginal bumpers were sent out and triple coated. (life time guarantee to orginal owner, me) * EXHAUST factory looking * TIRES 14" Goodyear polyglass * MISC following are new, T-3 headlights, wiring harnesses, dash and all guages, everything under the hood is new, window glass, the list goes on and on!
