This needs to be seen to believe. I spared no expense when I restored this bike. I replaced the mufflers, shocks, tires, seat cover, and battery, I had the bike repainted to OEM specs at a cost of $700. It would rate an 8 or 9. As is the case with the CX500, I also had the water seal replaced. This was a labor of love as I had bought a new 500 in 1978 when they first came out. I have original literature with it as well. This is a great bike and just needs to be ridden. I ridden it less than 30 miles a year since I've restored it. I just don't have time to give it the attention it deserves. I have over $3000 invested in the bike, and have what I feel is a reasonable reserve. Don't hesitate to own the first bike produced by Honda that had tubeless tires.
