1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Coupe 900 Listing this car again due to non-paying bidder. Please do not bid if you are not going to buy. This is 1962 Chevrolet Corvair Monza Couple, automatic, with 76,300 miles. The interior was updated a few years ago, and is in great shape. The engine is a opposed 6 cyl, Turbo Air Monza with Powerglide transmission, with a dash shifter! Transmission is strong and shifts perfectly. Engine has the typical oil leak common to this engine - it needs a seal kit. Otherwise, engine runs good, good power, and burns no oil. Engine compartment needs a new seal to keep dust out (that's why engine picture shows engine dusty). Steering very tight. Breaks good and even. Wipers work well, and the car has 4 new tires. Emergency break also works very well. The car has dual exhaust, dual carbs (just rebuilt), and an electric fuel pump. The body is free from rust (car is originally from California). Please note the new scratches around the fuel cap. These scratches just occurred and happened while in storage, not on the highway. The car needs a new right rear wheel bearing. The title is clear, and the buyer is responsible for shipping. The car even comes with the original owners manual. Please let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns. This description is used in the owners manual to describe the engine type; however, as you can see in the engine photos, this engine is not turbo charged.
