AND THIS VAN IS NO LONGER FINANCIALLY VIABLE TO KEEP. FIRST A LITTLE BACKGROUND. I PURCHASED THIS VAN A FEW YEARS AGO WITH THE INTENTION OF TRAVELING AROUND THE COUNTRY AND ENJOYING THE R. V. LIFESTYLE WHEN TIME AND FINANCES PERMITTED, (A LONG TERM GOAL) BUT IN REALITY I HAVE NEVER USED IT OTHER THAN DRIVING IT A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES HOME FROM SOUTH WEST FLORIDA WHERE I FIRST PURCHASED IT. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE VAN IS QUITE GOOD WHEN PURCHASED THE VAN HAD REASONABLY LOW MILES AND A TRIED AND TRUE CHEVY 5.7 V-8 WITH OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION. THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG AND QUIET, AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY, THE BRAKES ALSO WORK WELL. THE SUSPENSION IS TIGHT WITH NO CLUNKS OR RATTLES. RIDES VERY NICE, THE POWER WINDOWS WORK CORRECTLY AS DO THE POWER DOOR LOCKS. THE A/C IS NOT BLOWING COLD MAYBE NEEDS A CHARGE? THE BODY HAS SOME RUST AND REALLY IS THE WORST PART ABOUT THE VAN. IT HAS SUFFERED SOME WATER LEAKS AROUND THE ROOF, A/C I THINK AND WINDOW SEALS WHILE IT HAS BEEN SITTING. THESE AREAS NEED TO BE ADDRESSED AS WELL AS THE NUMEROUS RUST SPOTS MAINLY AROUND THE ROOF SEAM AND WINDOWS! THE TIRES LOOK GOOD, BUT ARE SHOWING SOME CRACKING FROM AGE. THIS VAN IS REALLY SELF CONTAINED WITH A GAS STOVE, NEWER GE FRIDGE, MICROWAVE AND THETFORD TOILET AND SHOWER ASSEMBLY! I HAVE NEVER USED ANY OF THESE FEATURES SO I DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD OR IF THEY ALL WORK CORRECTLY. WITH A FEW IMPROVEMENTS THIS VAN WILL PROVIDE A GREAT CAMPER LIKE I HAD ORIGINALY ENVISIONED. THE DETORIATION HAS BEEN MAINLY DUE TO LACK OF USE. I HAVE SET THE PRICE ACCORDINGLY FOR THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE IN CONSIDERATION OF MY SITUATION AND THE VANS CURRENT CONDITION. THIS IS A SITUATION I HAVE BEEN REGRETEBLY TRYING TO AVOID FOR QUITE SOME TIME, BUT HAVE FINALLY LOST MY STORAGE LOCATION. AND THIS VAN IS NO LONGER FINANCIALLY VIABLE TO KEEP. FIRST A LITTLE BACKGROUND. I PURCHASED THIS VAN A FEW YEARS AGO WITH THE INTENTION OF TRAVELING AROUND THE COUNTRY AND ENJOYING THE R. V. LIFESTYLE WHEN TIME AND FINANCES PERMITTED, (A LONG TERM GOAL) BUT IN REALITY I HAVE NEVER USED IT OTHER THAN DRIVING IT A COUPLE OF HUNDRED MILES HOME FROM SOUTH WEST FLORIDA WHERE I FIRST PURCHASED IT. THE OVERALL CONDITION OF THE VAN IS QUITE GOOD WHEN PURCHASED THE VAN HAD REASONABLY LOW MILES AND A TRIED AND TRUE CHEVY 5.7 V-8 WITH OVERDRIVE TRANSMISSION. THE ENGINE RUNS STRONG AND QUIET, AND THE TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTHLY, THE BRAKES ALSO WORK WELL. THE SUSPENSION IS TIGHT WITH NO CLUNKS OR RATTLES. RIDES VERY NICE, THE POWER WINDOWS WORK CORRECTLY AS DO THE POWER DOOR LOCKS AND FACTORY RADIO. THE A/C IS NOT BLOWING COLD MAYBE NEEDS A CHARGE? THE BODY HAS SOME RUST AND REALLY IS THE WORST PART ABOUT THE VAN. IT HAS SUFFERED SOME WATER LEAKS AROUND THE ROOF, A/C I THINK AND WINDOW SEALS WHILE IT HAS BEEN SITTING. THESE AREAS NEED TO BE ADDRESSED AS WELL AS THE NUMEROUS RUST SPOTS MAINLY AROUND THE ROOF SEAM AND WINDOWS! THE TIRES LOOK GOOD, BUT ARE SHOWING SOME CRACKING FROM AGE. THIS VAN IS REALLY SELF CONTAINED WITH A GAS STOVE, NEWER GE FRIDGE, MICROWAVE AND THETFORD TOILET AND SHOWER ASSEMBLY! I HAVE NEVER USED ANY OF THESE FEATURES SO I DON'T KNOW HOW GOOD OR IF THEY ALL WORK CORRECTLY. WITH A FEW IMPROVEMENTS THIS VAN WILL PROVIDE A GREAT CAMPER LIKE I HAD ORIGINALY ENVISIONED. THE DETORIATION HAS BEEN MAINLY DUE TO LACK OF USE. I HAVE SET THE PRICE ACCORDINGLY FOR THIS TYPE OF VEHICLE IN CONSIDERATION OF MY SITUATION AND THE VANS CURRENT CONDITION.
