This listing is for a beautiful 1999 Jaguar XK8 Coupe in opalescent topaz over biscuit leather and rich dark walnut. I purchased this vehicle last year and have enjoyed driving back and forth to work, never any issues and a really nice place to be. The car has been well cared for and garaged, so no fading or sun-damage. It has around 115K miles on it and is a very nice driver, but will likely change as I commute with it every day and go on frequent road trips. Everything works except for the passenger side mirror movement, it sticks. In my experience, the car has been very trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate to take it cross-country. I just sold my other XK8 and still have my XJ-S V12...I just really want something Italian with a manual transmission. As with any 14-year-old car, there are flaws here and there as well as signs of being driven, this is not a perfect car. I have made this a no-reserve auction because of cosmetic issues, it has slapped-on paint and there has been some body work to the passenger door area and the front bumper area. As can be seen on the history report, the car ran on an embankment and got stuck in the mud, and the police were called for a car off the road. (that's why it says state agency reported, insurance was never called) The cosmetic damage was to the front bumper cover area and the passenger-side door area. Because I know someone will ask, there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with the frame, it was only light body damage. In any case, the car is very presentable, needs absolutely nothing for a great driver, and I have driven it with no issues ever since. It has a clear title. I have been very pleased with it and for commuting purposes, XK8's are very hard to beat! There is no rust or corrosion and the interior is just lovely. I have done a few things recently to make it a trusty driver, such as new: fuel pump and filter (very big job on these cars), new Hankook tires, battery, alignment, fluids, engine mounts, and full transmission service. It is also fully equipped with an installed XM radio setup if desired. (regular radio works too!) To drive it is to be admired, and the coupe has gorgeous lines. The car comes with all books, original factory window sticker, a spare door key, a driver's key, and power-lock key fob. On the whole, this is a car for someone who needs an excellent trustworthy commuter car that is upscale and very nice, but does not want a show car.
