I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country LXi AWD. I would rate the exterior of this van to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking van. There is a small amount of rust on the nose of the hood that you can see in the photos. It is isolated to the hood. In the normal spots where these vans are known to rust (rockers, quarters and rear gate), there is no visible rust. Please expect to find signs of daily use appropriate with the age of this van such as small scratches, scrapes and chips. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. All in all, this is a great looking van. I would rate the interior of this van to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The Town & Country is the most well appointed van in the Chrysler/Dodge line...and this van is especially well optioned. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There is also rear heating and air conditioning. The air conditioning will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The stereo is the original Infinity Premium Sound with AM/FM cassette and 6 disc changer up front. The audio system sounds great and has a rich, full sound. This van boasts two rows of captains chairs and a rear bench...all in leather. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The leather seats show well throughout and are comfortable. Both side doors and the rear gate are power and will open/close with the touch of a button whether inside the van or with the factory remote. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seats appear to be working properly. Mechanically, this Town & Country appears to be in good running and driving condition. The big V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front bushings show some wear which is common at this age. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this van with no issues. Out on the road, she drives pretty well. The engine makes good power and keeps proper temperature. There is a check engine light on. The code was an EGR code...I believe it was "gross leak, no flow". Other than a light hesitation once in a while, there are no driveability issues associated with this code. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2001 Chrysler Town & Country LXi AWD. I would rate the exterior of this van to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a good looking van. There is a small amount of rust on the nose of the hood that you can see in the photos. It is isolated to the hood. In the normal spots where these vans are known to rust (rockers, quarters and rear gate), there is no visible rust. Please expect to find signs of daily use appropriate with the age of this van such as small scratches, scrapes and chips. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. All in all, this is a great looking van.
I would rate the interior of this van to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The Town & Country is the most well appointed van in the Chrysler/Dodge line...and this van is especially well optioned. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. There is also rear heating and air conditioning. The air conditioning will need charged or serviced as it does not blow cold air. The stereo is the original Infinity Premium Sound with AM/FM cassette and 6 disc changer up front. The audio system sounds great and has a rich, full sound. This van boasts two rows of captains chairs and a rear bench...all in leather. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The leather seats show well throughout and are comfortable. Both side doors and the rear gate are power and will open/close with the touch of a button whether inside the van or with the factory remote. The power windows, locks, mirrors and seats appear to be working properly.
Mechanically, this Town & Country appears to be in good running and driving condition. The big V6 starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The front bushings show some wear which is common at this age. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this van with no issues. Out on the road, she drives pretty well. The engine makes good power and keeps proper temperature. There is a check engine light on. The code was an EGR code...I believe it was "gross leak, no flow". Other than a light hesitation once in a while, there are no driveability issues associated with this code. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. Out on the highway, this van drives nice and straight with no complaints. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
