I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my ability. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1995 Jeep Cherokee SE 4x4 of the two door variety. I buy and sell lots of Jeeps and the old square Cherokee's are one of the most reliable and simple vehicles you'll find. They have an excellent and well earned reputation for rugged construction and bad weather capability. I would rate the exterior of this Cherokee to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. It is finished in a metallic olive green which looks nice. There is some usual oxidation on the hood and roof as you'd expect to find on an older Jeep. Additionally, please expect to find some bumps, dents, scratches and scuffs appropriate with an old Jeep. All of the glass and lenses are intact. This Cherokee has a set of alloys off of a Grand Cherokee Limited which show some age but look good on a Cherokee. They are wrapped in a nice set of matching tires with above average tread all around. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to also be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The dash and headliner show well. The seats and carpets show some stains as you'd expect on a Jeep of this age...although nothing is excessively worn. Everything inside the truck is manual so no trouble there. The cargo area is spacious and clean. This vehicle appears to have been owned by a smoker. While I didn't see any burn holes, you can detect the smoke smell inside the vehicle. I don't do any detailing here so I'd recommend spending a day scrubbing it out if that is a problem for you. The heater works fine. The previous owner took their radio so you'll need to supply your own. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in good running and driving condition. The famous 4.0L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs well. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Sometimes she idles a little rough but, when you hit the go pedal, she's all there. At this mileage, I'd definitely recommend a tune-up to keep her running strong. The front end and suspension feel great for an older Jeep. The steering is neutral and responsive...not loose and sloppy like these are known to get with age. The brakes stop this Jeep with no issues. Out on the road, she drives very well...I was really impressed for the miles. The engine makes great power and cruises easily. I've driven this Jeep all over, including a trip to Washington DC and back, and she handles the highway as well as around town. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. The 4WD system is tested and working properly. I've personally ran this Jeep through the mud, around a field and up the hills behind our shop. I can say with absolute certainty that she'll get you just about anywhere you need to go. Please forgive the pictures below if it looks dirty. Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
