1968 Other Makes Sears Allstate Puch 250 Twingle

1968 SEARS ALLSTATE 250 Twingle (Split-single) motorcycle in good running condition, with only 7454 original miles. Garage kept as you can see on the photos. Hardly any rust, even the chrome looks fine, just need a polishing job. It is a two stroke engine with two cylinders, but the pistons are running almost simultaneously. Made in Austria by Puch manufacturing Co. Tires also original, but probably need to be replaced due to dry rotting. Clear Minnesota title signed over to my name, but I never registered it in Kentucky because the insurance is a killer here! I rode the bike a few times with the Minnesota license plate on it - and I was lucky being not cut by cops. The clutch and transmission works very smooth, all four gear engages easily. I reached 55 mph with the bike but it still had quite juice left in it. It is not a race bike for sure, it was designed for every day use, reliability and fuel economy. There are plenty of parts for this model on eBay and there is a garage shop specialized for Puch motorcycles and also sell parts online: motorwestmotorcycles point com - This bike had a complete tune up at this shop in 2003, I have the receipts.
