149553 miles - VIN 1JCNJ15N7FT064085 - Clear Title - No Reserve This 1985 Grand Wagoneer has been in storage since December 2004. We purchased with intent to restore it but have finally realized we will probably never get to it. When laid up it was run until it used all of the fuel in the system. Mechanically it seems to be in pretty good shape. After adding fresh gas it started right up. The transmission, transfer case, steering, brakes, gages, and even the air conditioning are functional. The power seats are working as are all of the electric windows - including the tail gate. Jeep floor mats in pretty decent shape. There is a trailer hitch installed but a heavier duty hitch is also included. The original radio has been removed and replaced with the one in the photo.The frame appears to be solid even in the area of the gas tank. The unit had been in a metal shed that had some roof leaks thus some rust stains on some of the paint. The tires appear to be in decent shape and had only lost a few pounds of air in all those years. The bad - See pictures. It appears that a tree limb had fallen on the right rear roof. We have not attempted any repairs to this nor any other part of the vehicle. The windshield has a crack on the passenger side. The leather on the front seats needs repair. The wood grain and molding is as per photos. The engine seems to run fine but parts of the emission control system appear disconnected/missing. Runs a little louder than it should so something amiss in the exhaust system. Roof rack is included but has been detached. Not sure what else might be missing but it is very likely to be found in the large assortment of parts that are included. We have not changed any of the fluids since layup so all should be changed soonest. The battery was of course completely shot but we will provide one to get it started but it cannot be depended upon for much more than that. My son had a number of Grand Wagoneers over the years and had accumulated an assortment of parts for these cars. There are photos of this stuff but I am in no position to detail what is included other than to say that there is a lot of it. A very large jeep repair manual for year 1984 is included with some notations from previous owner as to the few differences from the 1985 version. Car can be inspected prior to close of auction. We are near Taylorsville, Kentucky - about half way between Louisville and Lexington. We can assist with loading but cannot get involved in shipping. While it seems to run fine we cannot recommend that it be driven any great distance until it is thoroughly gone over.
