The Escalade is the flagship of all the Cadillac line. Cadillac did it right with this model! It is a beautiful vehicle on the exterior, and the interior has all the bells, whistles, and comfort that is only expected in a Cadillac. When someone compares the way a vehicle rides to another vehicle, it always goes like this, " This thing rides like a Cadillac!". Well, that statement goes hand and hand with this vehicle. Sitting behind the wheel of this vehicle, one would think they are floating on a cloud even though they may be on a bumpy interstate. This vehicle does have a rebuilt title. When the vehicle had 47,000 miles on it, it was involved in a motor vehicle accident that caused enough damage that the insurance company deemed it a total loss. After that the insurance company sold the vehicle to someone who had the vehicle repaired and sent it threw the state DMV inspection. After being inspected to be have been fixed properly, the vehicle was issued a rebuilt title. In my opinion all this means is your going to buy this vehicle much cheaper than one that is not salvage. This body style of the Escalade is the current body style for this vehicle. There is no difference in the 2012 model vs this one. The exterior of this Cadillac is gold in color, and has been meticulously maintained. It appears like it was garage kept and that the repairs made to the vehicle after the wreck were done correctly. The roof does have a flaw at the edge of the rear hatch (this is pictured within the listing!). The factory 22 in chrome premium Cadillac wheel are in great shape as well, and the tires probably have around 30% tread life left in them and will not need replacing soon. Upon opening the door of this vehicle, one would be amazed at just how nice this SUV is, and how roomy they interior is. The tan leather seats are in fair shape, with the back seat having a rip in it. The carpet is in excellent shape. This Escalade has every bell and whistle that can be ordered extra on a Cadillac of this year model. Some of those include touch screen navigation (navigation disc not included), factory entertainment system, power windows and door locks, power mirrors, keyless entry, 6 disc in dash CD changer, heated/cooled driver and passenger seats, front and rear heat and air conditioning, sunroof, third row seating (that can be easily removed to add extra cargo room), and many many more. This vehicle has been road tested and has no mechanical defects that I am aware of. The engine runs out like new and the transmission shifts into all gears perfectly with ease. The vehicle does have a minor exhaust leak that is a normal problem with those bigger GM engines. The service air suspension light is on in the vehicle. This is know way effects the way the vehicle drives. It still rides like a Cadillac and probably is nothing more than a sensor gone bad. The retail NADA value on this Cadillac with all the extra's and without the salvage title is over $28,000! If this vehicle were to be bought brand new today one would spend near $70,000!
