Do you Plan on travelling the states on a road trip? I suggest you buy this van and all the camping gear included in this sale for your adventure. My wife and I are currently travelling in the Chevy Astro van. We bought the van in L.A in March 2013 and have currently done over 5,000 miles in the Western States and throughout Canada. We are now back in USA and will deliver the van to the winning bidder in the New York area within 3 days of auction ending. We bought the van in Los Angeles and have set it up for the cross country adventure we are on right now. It is the perfect vehicle for travelling on a budget. Lots of features make this van ideal for a road tripping adventure: tinted windows are great for sleeping anywhere, no one can see in. Great turning circle. Drink holders. Lots of storage space under and around the futon bed. Very useful interior lights. 12V cigarette lighter port for charging electronic devices. Side steps. Lots of places to hang and store things. All of the included camping gear completes the package making for a very comfortable travelling experience. Before we set off on our trip we had the following maintenance done on the van: engine and transmission service, new front tyres, new wiper blades, new struts in rear door and full mechanic check. All receipts can be provided. This is a 1994 Chevy van that will have approx 165,000 miles when we reach New York. The van has a great engine, battery, automatic transmission, tyres. AM/FM radio, electric windows, electric mirrors. No rust. Spare tyre and tools are all on board. The van has had the back seats removed and set up for camping/travelling. I had forgot to mention mileage… We’ve mostly been travelling around 65 mile/hour and averaging 17mile/gallon. When travelling faster at 70-75 mile/hour we’re getting 15-16 miles/gallon. I didn’t make clear enough that my wife and I are an Australian couple who fly out of Toronto on 8th of May. We’ll have to deliver the van or have it picked up before we fly out. Cheers, Glen
