I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1993 Volvo 960 sedan. The Volvo 960 was the flagship of the Volvo line through the mid 90's and is one of the best vehicles ever made, in my opinion. They are solid as a rock, nicely appointed and are powered by the smooth and reliable 2.9L inline six cylinder engine. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo 960 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking Volvo. This is the lowest mile 960 I've ever had the chance to get my hands on...and the exterior condition reflects the low miles. It is finished in a dark gray which shows very well. The alloy wheels match the paint well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. The chrome trim really shines and contrasts nicely against the gray paint. All of the glass and lenese appear to be intact.. Volvo's like this are getting very hard to find. Please take your time and check out all of the photos of this uncommonly low mile Volvo 960. I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Other than some visible wear on the outer bolster of the drivers seat, there is no wear showing on the seats. The door cards are clean and tight...and show none of the typical "pulling" of the leather. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and rear deck show well...that combined with the lack of pulling on the tops of the door panels tell me that this Volvo has probably spent all of its life in a garage. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seats all appear to be in proper working condition. The trunk is spacious and clean. A spare and full tool kit is included. The radio is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged for the season. The compressor does turn on but then kicks off...which is indicative of low charge in the system. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Volvo with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. The 90's was the best generation of Volvo to own, in my opinion. They kept the old school simplicity and reliability of the 80's but really began to move their vehicles upscale with luxury features. By the 2000's, Volvo's had become more electronic which brings a host of longevity issues which pleague many other luxury manufacturers who went gadget crazy in favor of the simplicity which made them great vehicles in the first place such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Saab-R.I.P. The engine keeps perfect operating temperature and runs smoothly. The only issue I see with this car is the shifter position sensor. It's doing that thing where the W-S-E lights jump around when the signal isn't right from the shifter. It doesn't present any drivability issues currently. I've owned several of these vehicles and this one drives fine. Out on the highway, she cruises well. The timing belt shows being done on time...so no worries there. This Volvo is ready to go another 200k miles for her next fortunate owner. The next owner will certainly get a lot of car for their money. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1993 Volvo 960 sedan. The Volvo 960 was the flagship of the Volvo line through the mid 90's and is one of the best vehicles ever made, in my opinion. They are solid as a rock, nicely appointed and are powered by the smooth and reliable 2.9L inline six cylinder engine. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo 960 to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this is a great looking Volvo. This is the lowest mile 960 I've ever had the chance to get my hands on...and the exterior condition reflects the low miles. It is finished in a dark gray which shows very well. The alloy wheels match the paint well and are wrapped in nice rubber all around. The chrome trim really shines and contrasts nicely against the gray paint. All of the glass and lenese appear to be intact.. Volvo's like this are getting very hard to find. Please take your time and check out all of the photos of this uncommonly low mile Volvo 960.
I would rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Other than some visible wear on the outer bolster of the drivers seat, there is no wear showing on the seats. The door cards are clean and tight...and show none of the typical "pulling" of the leather. The carpets show well throughout the interior. The dash and rear deck show well...that combined with the lack of pulling on the tops of the door panels tell me that this Volvo has probably spent all of its life in a garage. The power windows, locks, mirrors, sunroof and seats all appear to be in proper working condition. The trunk is spacious and clean. A spare and full tool kit is included. The radio is original and sounds good. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner will need charged for the season. The compressor does turn on but then kicks off...which is indicative of low charge in the system.
Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.9L inline six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels tight. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this Volvo with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. The 90's was the best generation of Volvo to own, in my opinion. They kept the old school simplicity and reliability of the 80's but really began to move their vehicles upscale with luxury features. By the 2000's, Volvo's had become more electronic which brings a host of longevity issues which pleague many other luxury manufacturers who went gadget crazy in favor of the simplicity which made them great vehicles in the first place such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Saab-R.I.P. The engine keeps perfect operating temperature and runs smoothly. The only issue I see with this car is the shifter position sensor. It's doing that thing where the W-S-E lights jump around when the signal isn't right from the shifter. It doesn't present any drivability issues currently. I've owned several of these vehicles and this one drives fine. Out on the highway, she cruises well. The timing belt shows being done on time...so no worries there. This Volvo is ready to go another 200k miles for her next fortunate owner. The next owner will certainly get a lot of car for their money. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
