1971 Honda CB450 A CB450 in original condition is becoming harder to find. This bike has less than 12,000 actual miles. The motor runs and sounds great. Everything on the bike operates as intended; nothing is needed to begin enjoying this classic motorcycle. Clear Title, adult owned and operated since new. Buyer pays for shipping. This is a nice bike that weighs in at 410lbs. Recent service includes: Carb Clean – Oil change & cleaned the oil Filter – New Fork Boots – Rebuilt Brake caliper - new brakes front and rear – Tires are in excellent shape – Valve & Cam Chain adjustment - Starter clutch was noisy and has been rebuilt – Petcock rebuilt – New Battery - I powder coated the swing arm, side stand, center stand, Chain Guard, Tool Box and the Battery Box. The tank is in nice shape no dents. Tank and side covers were repainted. The CB450 was Honda’s first “big” motorcycle with a 444cc dual overhead engine producing 43-45 horsepower. Appearing first in the 1965 four-speed K0 model, and progressing through a series of improvements and styling changes, notably a redesigned fuel tank and a 5 speed transmission in the 1968 K1 model. The CB450 had excellent engineering for the time, notably including reliable electrical components, an electric starter, and a horizontally split crankcase, all features distinct from the British twins of the era.
