UP FOR BID IS THIS SWEET, BEAUTIFUL 28 YEAR OLD VINTAGE MOTORCYCLE. This will make a great beginner bike, a great experienced rider bike or even just an great avid rider bike to ride to the Vintage bike rallys and get togethers on the summer nights! This bike has always been garaged since I and the previous owner has owned it. I just changed the rear differential fluid, since the book said its time. The hydraulic valve lifters mean "No Valve Adjustments". I bought this off my boss and he has had it for several years and rode it pretty regularly and took good care of it. I have 2 spare keys. CONDITION: The bike is not perfect but excellent condition: The hydraulic fluid windows are oxidized on the front brake and clutch, they do not leak and work fine. There are a few small scratches/scuffs on the paint: See the right side of the tank, left of the Honda emblem and the right side cover to the right and top of the "nighthawk emblem" and the tip of the front fender. These are hard to see overall except when you focus on them. Compare these to the overall bike pictures. The aluminum is is starting to oxidize a little and some of the clearcoat on the aluminum is starting to peel: See the pillion handle on the back of the seat and the valve cover and the top of the starter cover. The left fork has some type of sticker residue on it. Please come and see it in person if possible! I included some pictures of the blemishes for you to see. These are hardly noticable in the overall pictures. There is a slight seam split on the seat, see pictures, I took the original old stock exhaust pipes off and put a new chome 4 into one exhaust pipe on it. I threw the old pipes in the dumpster. Everything else is buck stock original that I know of or can see. It has the Original Owners Manual in its factory plastic envelope under the seat. It has its complete Original Tool Kit with its factory plastic pouch in the tool kit compartment. The brakes are good. The engine is very, very strong and the bike is dangerously fast and sounds so AWESOME & WICKED! It has a 10,000 RPM Redline and runs clean and strong up through the power band. I am starting the bids way below what I paid for this sweet machine. There is no RESERVE, the Highest Bid buys this Awesome Historical Machine. Please try to come and see this in real life if you can, pictures only can show so much, reflections make it hard to see this bike in the photos.
