You are bidding on a 1972 RS SS Camaro. This is the real deal. This is a highly optioned car. Factory tilt, rear window defogger, auto, AC, etc. I looked for years to find this car. 1972 was the lowest production year for the Camaro, due to the GM strike. It does not have the numbers matching engine. I pulled the motor that was in it ( a later model 350 with center bolt valve covers) and put a like brand new motor in it. It has a nasty SBC Chevy in it, a .030 over 350. It has forged dome pistons, .515 lift Lunati Cam, Accel distributor, Holley Carb,Performer RPM intake, headers etc. I put an 8 qt pan on the engine, it has 4 bolt mains, and was very clean and nice inside and appears to be balanced. Tranny has a new 2500 stall convertor, and shift kit. The car will need some floor repair, a trunk pan, and a quarter replaced. I have driven it, and it drove good except for needing some front shocks. It has a new power steering pump, and radiator. It has brand new BFG Radial TA's on it, and the wheels have been re-done. It needs minor work to be a driver again. Needs a new throttle cable and bracket installed, and the Holley has a small leak near the bowl to fix. I also have the factory exhaust manifolds, and some other parts that are original to the car. Clean green Oklahoma title in my name. Car has its original trim tag with Z27 on it signifying the SS option. The trim tag has never been off this car. The car has its original RS sheet metal.
