Used 1982 Volkswagen Vanagon Camper (Rare: Powered by 1.6L Diesel); 124,696 plus 216 miles (Mileage meter broke coming home); I am the 3rd owner (I think) of this incredible van; It appears to be all original; VAN LOOKS, RUNS & DRIVES GREAT. 4-speed manual trans; I would rate this vehicle above average except for a few blemishes as you can see in photos; Never failed to crank (even at 5 degrees F); 24-28 MPG; It has been housed in heated garage and regularly maintained since I have owned this vehicle; This vehicle is located in Loris, SC. Repairs since I have owned this vehicle includes: new trailer hitch; new belts including a new timing belt, new water pump, new idler pulley; new rear brake shoes & brake cylinders, new radio (am/fm, cd player, aux, wired for XM radio) & speakers, new starter, new alternator (previous owner replaced this); new rear hatch struts; new inner drive shaft seals, new clutch, new tires, new wheel covers, Equipped with refrigerator, sink, cook top, 2 double beds; overhead lights, both front seats swivel. The new owner would probably want to repair the heater controls, but they work fine for me. On the speedometer, the speed works fine, but the mileage just broke. This unit is ready to go Camping (just serviced completely). Reason for selling is I just purchased a new RV. Buyer must pick up this vehicle with certified check.
