I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero sedan. The 9-5 is the flagship sedan of the Saab family and the Aero is it's most desirable and aggressive trim level. If you're reading this description, you probably already know exactly what you're looking at/looking for. I would rate the exterior of this Saab 9-5 Aero to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this car shows very well. It is finished in black on black. The paint has a mile deep shine and has been obviously well cared for. Please expect to find a few scratches, scrapes and chips as you would expect on an older vehicle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos. If you've been looking for a nice Aero, here is your opportunity. Aero's like this rarely become available. I would rate the interior of this Saab 9-5 Aero to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this vehicle. It has had the same owner since it had 17k miles in 2002 and it shows. The door panels are near spotless. The carpets show very well throughout the interior. There are a full set of Saab floor mats which are included with the car. The dash and headliner are both clean. The black perforated leather seats show well throughout the cabin and are extremely comfortable. Both front seats are power operated, heated AND COOLED (which was a rare option in the early ones). The audio system is the original Harmon/Kardon premium sound which performs perfectly. There are also steering wheel audio controls for your convenience. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The power windows, seats, locks, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. This car comes complete with two keys, two remotes, a full set of books AND an inch thick stack of service records starting from 2002 (17k miles) through present!!! Again, pride in ownership doesn't even begin to describe this Saab. Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.3L high output turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It drips a little oil but does not smoke or appear to use oil. I'll skip right to the ONLY bad thing I have to say about this Saab. Sometimes it will fight you to get into reverse. I am quite familiar with these vehicles...and this is common. It feels like the lockout needs adjusted. Sometimes it drops right in, other times it fights you to engage reverse. The suspension on this Saab Aero feels absolutely perfect. It feels composed and solid in any driving situation. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. She drives and handles like a dream. The Saab 9-5 (and 9000) Aero is one of the most versatile automobiles available. If you can manage to keep your right foot out of the throttle, they get remarkable fuel economy. For those of us with slightly less self control, these cars are an endless source of amusement. The turbo spools fast and hard, delivering smooth power almost instantly. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are also smooth as silk. I absolutely love these cars! They are the ultimate sleeper...understated, tame and docile. To most, they look like every other sedan on the road. Only a small "Aero" badge on either fender announces that lies under the hood. If you've been looking for a nice Aero, you should seriously consider this automobile. It is the most complete, sorted and desirable Aero I've come across in a long time. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 2000 Saab 9-5 Aero sedan. The 9-5 is the flagship sedan of the Saab family and the Aero is it's most desirable and aggressive trim level. If you're reading this description, you probably already know exactly what you're looking at/looking for. I would rate the exterior of this Saab 9-5 Aero to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, this car shows very well. It is finished in black on black. The paint has a mile deep shine and has been obviously well cared for. Please expect to find a few scratches, scrapes and chips as you would expect on an older vehicle. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos. If you've been looking for a nice Aero, here is your opportunity. Aero's like this rarely become available.
I would rate the interior of this Saab 9-5 Aero to be in EXCELLENT CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. As you can see, pride in ownership shows throughout every inch of this vehicle. It has had the same owner since it had 17k miles in 2002 and it shows. The door panels are near spotless. The carpets show very well throughout the interior. There are a full set of Saab floor mats which are included with the car. The dash and headliner are both clean. The black perforated leather seats show well throughout the cabin and are extremely comfortable. Both front seats are power operated, heated AND COOLED (which was a rare option in the early ones). The audio system is the original Harmon/Kardon premium sound which performs perfectly. There are also steering wheel audio controls for your convenience. The climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The power windows, seats, locks, mirrors and sunroof all appear to be working properly. This car comes complete with two keys, two remotes, a full set of books AND an inch thick stack of service records starting from 2002 (17k miles) through present!!! Again, pride in ownership doesn't even begin to describe this Saab.
Mechanically, this Saab appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.3L high output turbocharged engine starts easily and runs smoothly. It drips a little oil but does not smoke or appear to use oil. I'll skip right to the ONLY bad thing I have to say about this Saab. Sometimes it will fight you to get into reverse. I am quite familiar with these vehicles...and this is common. It feels like the lockout needs adjusted. Sometimes it drops right in, other times it fights you to engage reverse. The suspension on this Saab Aero feels absolutely perfect. It feels composed and solid in any driving situation. The steering is neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this sedan with no issues. Her road manners are excellent. She drives and handles like a dream. The Saab 9-5 (and 9000) Aero is one of the most versatile automobiles available. If you can manage to keep your right foot out of the throttle, they get remarkable fuel economy. For those of us with slightly less self control, these cars are an endless source of amusement. The turbo spools fast and hard, delivering smooth power almost instantly. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are also smooth as silk. I absolutely love these cars! They are the ultimate sleeper...understated, tame and docile. To most, they look like every other sedan on the road. Only a small "Aero" badge on either fender announces that lies under the hood. If you've been looking for a nice Aero, you should seriously consider this automobile. It is the most complete, sorted and desirable Aero I've come across in a long time. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
