I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers one of the best values available in a used SUV. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please keep in mind that this Jeep is approaching the 300k mark... Overall, she shows very well for her age. However, there are some things you just can't get around due to the miles. There are marks on the bumpers, chipped spots in the paint, ect. There are a few small rust bubbles under the doors and tail gate. Again, nothing horrible considering the miles. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in decent rubber. The tires show average tread all around. I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show some stains but are not excessively worn. There is a full set of Jeep rubber floor mats which are included. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The plastic panel inside of the hatch is missing. The dash is clean. The headliner shows well and sags a little, which is common for an older Jeep. The leather seats show very well for their age and are not torn or excessively worn. Both front seats are power operated and work properly. The power windows and locks are also working properly. This Jeep comes with one remote to the factory keyless entry which is still working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic. The system is working properly but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced to work properly. The sound system is the premium Infinity Gold but the previous owner kept their radio. The wiring is all there...you'll just need to put your own head unit in. The sunroof slides and tilts properly. Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in decent running and driving condition. The 318ci V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any noteworthy leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels remarkably tight for the age of this Jeep. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this SUV with no issues. She gets down the road very well for an old lady. The engine keeps perfect temperature and holds good oil pressure. There have been no warning lights on. This Jeep is PA safety and emissions inspected through Feb. 2014!!! The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. It has the Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system which is working properly. The engine makes good power like it should and purrs like a kitten. She drives nice and straight down the road with no pulling or shakes. The differentials both make some noise...but I've heard worse. There is a slight vibration in the front end at highway speeds. Overall, I was very impressed with this Jeep...all things considered. I shouldn't have to say this but I will... Please remember that you are bidding on an older vehicle with a considerable amount of miles on it. Please have accurate expectations. If you want a vehicle with no risk involved, there are plenty of Jeep dealerships who would probably fist fight each other to sell you a new Grand Cherokee with a warranty for $45,000. Buying your next vehicle through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. The Jeep Grand Cherokee offers one of the best values available in a used SUV. I would rate the exterior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. Please keep in mind that this Jeep is approaching the 300k mark... Overall, she shows very well for her age. However, there are some things you just can't get around due to the miles. There are marks on the bumpers, chipped spots in the paint, ect. There are a few small rust bubbles under the doors and tail gate. Again, nothing horrible considering the miles. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in decent rubber. The tires show average tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this Jeep to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show some stains but are not excessively worn. There is a full set of Jeep rubber floor mats which are included. The cargo area is spacious and clean. The plastic panel inside of the hatch is missing. The dash is clean. The headliner shows well and sags a little, which is common for an older Jeep. The leather seats show very well for their age and are not torn or excessively worn. Both front seats are power operated and work properly. The power windows and locks are also working properly. This Jeep comes with one remote to the factory keyless entry which is still working properly. The climate control system is fully automatic. The system is working properly but the air conditioner will need charged or serviced to work properly. The sound system is the premium Infinity Gold but the previous owner kept their radio. The wiring is all there...you'll just need to put your own head unit in. The sunroof slides and tilts properly.
Mechanically, this Jeep appears to be in decent running and driving condition. The 318ci V8 engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I did not see any noteworthy leaks and the engine does not smoke. The suspension feels remarkably tight for the age of this Jeep. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this SUV with no issues. She gets down the road very well for an old lady. The engine keeps perfect temperature and holds good oil pressure. There have been no warning lights on. This Jeep is PA safety and emissions inspected through Feb. 2014!!! The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. It has the Quadra-Trac Full Time 4WD system which is working properly. The engine makes good power like it should and purrs like a kitten. She drives nice and straight down the road with no pulling or shakes. The differentials both make some noise...but I've heard worse. There is a slight vibration in the front end at highway speeds. Overall, I was very impressed with this Jeep...all things considered. I shouldn't have to say this but I will... Please remember that you are bidding on an older vehicle with a considerable amount of miles on it. Please have accurate expectations. If you want a vehicle with no risk involved, there are plenty of Jeep dealerships who would probably fist fight each other to sell you a new Grand Cherokee with a warranty for $45,000. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
