This vehicle has been meticulously maintained by the department and is in excellent working condition. There is an extra set of snow tires and rims in the trunk. This vehicle has to my knowledge never been involved in an accident All fire markings and equipment have been removed except for the spotlights. The buyer accepts all responsibility for condition, as the vehicle is sold as is. There is no warranty either expressed or implied. The buyer accepts all responsibility for picking up the vehicle in Manistee Michigan The vehicle can be inspected at the Fire Department 281 First Street Manistee mi. PAYMENT: All items purchased must be paid in full prior to pick-up. Payment is to be made at the Clerks Office 70 Maple St Manistee Michiogan or by PayPal NO CASH, PERSONAL CHECKS, OUT-OF-STATE OR FOREIGN CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. At the time of payment, the successful bidder will be required to sign a disclaimer of warranty and liability and an acknowledgment of acceptance of the item(s). If the successful bidder is another governmental entity including public schools, that entity’s check will be accepted for payment. SALES TAX will not be added to this purchase. It is the responsibility of the buyer to pay at the time the title is transferred at Secretary of State. PICK-UP: Once the item(s) has been paid for, it can be picked up by the awarded bidder at the City of Manistee Fire Department 281 First St Manistee Mi 49660, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. The awarded bidder must bring the paid receipt to the Central Garage when picking up any item(s). The City reserves the right to request identification from the person picking up the item(s). If the winning bidder, as registered on EBAY, is not picking up the vehicle in person, written authorization must be provided by the winning bidder, as to who the vehicle should be released to. All items will be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. The purchaser agrees to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal of all purchased item(s) from the building without assistance from City staff. The purchaser is also responsible for restoring the premises to a satisfactory condition, if necessary. The City of Dearborn retains the sole right to judge what is considered to be satisfactory condition of the premises. If the Purchaser shall cause the City of Dearborn to incur ANY expense in restoring the premises to a satisfactory condition in the event of the Purchaser’s default on this obligation, the purchaser will be held solely responsible and liable for these expenses. Mailing/delivery service will not be provided. PICK-UP TIME LIMIT: If an item is not picked up within 7 business days after the auction expiration date and time, the City of Manistee reserves the right in its sole discretion to retain the item, to re-list it for auction and block the bidder from future auctions, or to dispose of the item as it deems appropriate.
