This four door small SUV is equipped with Jeep’s famous 4.0L straight six engine, automatic transmission, and selectable four wheel drive. Overall, I would rate this Jeep as Average for the age and mileage. As you can see in the pictures, the red paint on this Jeep shows well. The black steel wheels are in good condition and wrapped in a set of radial tires. All of the lights and glass look good. There is a THULE brand adjustable roof rack for all your summer and winter sports equipment. The interior is in good condition for the age. The seats are an easily cleanable vinyl and show well. The headliner is in very good condition with no sag. The carpets show well. The dash and door panels are clean and firmly attached. The windows crank up and down easily. The power mirrors work as they should. The heater works well. The A/C tries to work, but it appears to have a slow leak somewhere. The compressor is not seized. The aftermarket stereo has good sound quality. Mechanically, this Jeep gets down the road well. The engine makes good power. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The four wheel drive engages and disengages properly. The brakes stop strong. This Cherokee gets down the highway with no complaints. The Jeep Cherokee is a simple, straightforward SUV with a well deserved reputation. If you need something small, four wheel drive, and easy to maintain, a Cherokee is an excellent option. Up for auction with NO RESERVE is a 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4x4. This four door small SUV is equipped with Jeep’s famous 4.0L straight six engine, automatic transmission, and selectable four wheel drive. Overall, I would rate this Jeep as Average for the age and mileage.
As you can see in the pictures, the red paint on this Jeep shows well. The black steel wheels are in good condition and wrapped in a set of radial tires. All of the lights and glass look good. There is a THULE brand adjustable roof rack for all your summer and winter sports equipment.
The interior is in good condition for the age. The seats are an easily cleanable vinyl and show well. The headliner is in very good condition with no sag. The carpets show well. The dash and door panels are clean and firmly attached. The windows crank up and down easily. The power mirrors work as they should. The heater works well. The A/C tries to work, but it appears to have a slow leak somewhere. The compressor is not seized. The aftermarket stereo has good sound quality.
Mechanically, this Jeep gets down the road well. The engine makes good power. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. The four wheel drive engages and disengages properly. The brakes stop strong. This Cherokee gets down the highway with no complaints.
The Jeep Cherokee is a simple, straightforward SUV with a well deserved reputation. If you need something small, four wheel drive, and easy to maintain, a Cherokee is an excellent option. Thanks for looking at my auctions and good luck bidding.

By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
