An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction today is a 1996 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4. This truck has an extended cab and the 8' bed with dual fuel tanks. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. She is finished in a nice two tone maroon and silver. While the body is free of any noteworthy damage, there is visible body rust on the rockers and rear fenders which is common. It looks to have been repaired at some time in the past but could use work again to be perfect. In spite of a bunch of mud slung around, the underside and frame look good. All of the glass and lenses appear to be intact. The alloy wheels show well. The tires show average tread all around. I would rate the interior of this truck to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage of this vehicle. The door panels are clean and tight. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn. The dash and headliner show well. The seat is soft and comfortable...not worn out or ripped. The power windows and locks work properly. The sliding rear window opens and closes easily. The stereo is original. The climate control system is also original and works properly. The heater works well and the air conditioner blows ICE COLD AIR, too. The interior could use a thorough cleaning. While nothing is excessively worn, there is an odor present. The bed shows signs of use...but not abuse. Mechanically, this truck appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 302ci engine starts easily and runs smoothly. The engine does not smoke and I didn't see any leaks. The engine keeps normal temperature and great oil pressure. The suspension feels good. The steering feels neutral and responsive. The brakes stop this truck with no issues. Out on the road, she drives well. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly. It is the responsibility of the buyer to have thoroughly inspected the vehicle, and to have satisfied himself or herself as to the condition and value and to bid based upon that judgement solely. The seller shall and will make every reasonable effort to disclose any known defects associated with this vehicle at the buyer's request prior to the close of sale. Seller assumes no responsibility for any repairs regardless of any oral statements about the vehicle.
If you wish to contact us for any reason, the quickest and best way to do so is through eBay's email system. Messages left on the office voicemail may take several days to get to the right person or get lost.
We offer a unique way of purchasing a car but it does carry additional risk to the buyer when compared to buying a vehicle at retail price from a retail dealership that has been inspected and may carry a warranty. Please understand that each vehicle we sell is being sold exactly as we received it (unless otherwise noted in the written description). We always disclose any known faults with the vehicle in our description. However, the description we provide is based solely on our observations of the vehicle during our road test. These vehicles are sold AS-IS and do not carry any sort of warranty.
Please consider this when you decide if buying from us is something you feel comfortable with. We try to eliminate as much risk as possible for our buyers but cannot offer reconditioned, warrantied vehicles for sale with No Reserve. We are happy to answer any questions from prospective buyers regarding our business or specific vehicles listed for sale and aim to make buying from us as trouble free as possible.
Bidding:
Please read the entire description and view all pictures before placing a bid. We go out of our way to provide as detailed of a description as possible in addition to posting several dozen photos of each unit. If you have any questions or concerns that have not been addressed within our listing, feel free to send us an email so that we may address your specific question before placing your bid. Please wait to place your bid until you are completely comfortable with what you're bidding on.
By placing a bid on any of our auctions, you assert that you have read and agree to our entire terms & conditions as well as eBay's terms & conditions. Additionally, you enter into a binding contract to purchase the item they are bidding on should you be the winning bidder. By placing a bid on any of our auctions, each bidder asserts that they understand the risks of purchasing a used vehicle and have fully exercised their ability to complete any diligence or any any questions needed PRIOR to placing their bid.
In the event of any bid retraction or bid change, it shall be the right of the seller to honor or not honor the outcome of the auction. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the seller and can be made at any time while the auction is live or after the auction closes. Additionally, any member who changes or withdraws a bid may be permanently barred from bidding on future auctions.
The seller may, at its sole discretion and for any reason deemed appropriate, cancel any bid or restrict any member from bidding on current and future auctions.
Winning bidders:
Winning bidders are required to contact us within 48 hours of auction close and make arrangements for payment and vehicle pick-up. If we do not hear from you within 48 hours, the vehicle may be sold to another buyer. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay.
Payment:
Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close.
Cash in person upon pick up is the preferred method of payment. There are other payment options for long distance buyers where paying in person is not possible. Paypal is NOT accepted for payment, nor do we have the ability to accept credit cards.
Vehicle Pick-up:
Arrangements must be made in advance to pick up a vehicle. We do not have regular hours; we operate by-appointment. We are very flexible and accommodating with days and times to pick-up, but must have advance notice or there is a very real possibility you or your shipper may arrive and nobody will be at our facility.
Vehicles paid with cash will be available immediately. If paid by any other method, the vehicle and title will be held until funds have been cleared by my bank.
All vehicles must be collected within 14 days of auction's end. Vehicles left longer than 14 days without a specific exception being made will be subject to a storage fee of $10/day.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, ect., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are unable to complete any tag or title work (including temp tags) in-house, nor do we collect any sales tax or registration fees. There are Tag & Title locations nearby that can handle those tranactions. We will assist you in that process.
