Vehicle Detail
I'm selling my 2003 Dodge 2500 Crew Cab 4WD as I have replaced it with an older 12 valve that I don't mind scratching. This truck runs and drives great. In the past 25,000 miles the following have been replaced: Ball joints Front drive shaft Batteries (less than 6 months) Transmission (rebuilt @ 187k) Water Pump (190k) Tires (190k) Front axle u joints and axle seals I have never replaced the injector pump or the injectors, but they are both strong. This truck cranks up after 2 weeks of sitting everytime...no blow by or "coal" smoke when you stomp on it. The only thing that I know doesn't work is the cruise control. I never used it so I didn't worry with it, but I know it's not the fuse. The plastic pillars (with grab handles) are in the truck, but are not installed as my large brother tried to ape into the truck on both side pulling them from around the washer. If you have some JB weld and time you can fix em right up (I would have but I work 2 jobs, so time.....what is that?). I wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. The interior of the bed looks like a truck without a bedliner....scratches dings and etc. The only flaws on the exterior are some scratches on the bedside from my dog's paws (should buff out) and some chips on the passenger door from a stray rock. This truck is far from great condition, but also far from a "work truck." It is just a good truck that can be used as both a commuter (without embarassment), but not so nice that dirt hurts the paint. The driver's seat is torn (typical dodge) and the air vents intermittently refuse to change on the first attempt (more thanks to dodge), but will change after turning the control(s) back and forth a few times. Buy and drive home!!!! Call for more detail/questions 731-694-1337 (Chris); I welcome prebuy inspections.
