72 Chevelle Custom LS1 5.3 AC This 72 Chevelle started out with a worn out big-block (no matching numbers - it's a Malibu) Now it has a 5.3 setup with a mild camshaft, LS1 intake, Edelbrock headers, and Kwik brackets, backed up by a 4l60e with a Hughes converter. Installed Vintage Air and smoothed the firewall AC is cold!. Paint was done about 8 years ago but is in good shape. All suspension pieces are from BMR including tubular upper and lower control arms, front and rear. Moser 9" with a Detroit Truetrac and a 3.70 gear supplies the power to rear wheels. Rear Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR 265/35ZR 20 99W tires with replica SS American Racing 20" wheels, Front Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR 235 40ZR 18 91W Tires on 18" American Racing replica SS wheels, with disc brakes on all 4 corners. Rewired most of the car, including a Yates EFI engine harness. Sound deadener was installed while the interior was out. The interior is finished off with Autometer gauges in the dash.
