Up for auction is my 1984 honda Z 50R-E. I have owned this bike for 20 years, all 3 of my children has rode this bike. It has been a great little starter bike. It has been sitting in my shop now for about 6 years. So it is time to sell it and let someone else have some fun with it. Somewhere around 2002, I installed a new rear tire and tube, and the gas tank had pin holes to come thru on the left underside of the tank ( the side the bike would lean to sitting on the kick stand, there was about 3 years it was not rode between my 2nd and 3rd child) now the same side outside bottom of the tank has some pin holes, I installed some JB Weld on them as you will see in the pictures. I just found out today, I could probably coat the gas tank with some red tote to seal the inside of the tank. Cleaned the carb. And put some gas in the tank and it fired right up. This bike has never been down as far as I know (engine and transmission). Still runs and drives and shifts good (3 speed trans). The front tire is dry rotted, the kill switch broke a long time ago and I put a toggle switch on it, and the left side cover has a crack piece missing as you will see in the pic. I never did know for sure if the seat was the correct seat for it, so I can across some parts for a z50 (don’t know the year) so I bought them, which these will be included with bike, another seat, rear fender with a taillight, shock and another exhaust pipe cover. This bike was built on 12/83 vin number is JH2AB0208 ES514015 Model Z50R-E color code R-120. I would like this to be picked up, but would ship it if not to much trouble.
